My original name was going to be Frieda. Luckily my old folks decided that Kennedy sounded better in the 18-24 demo.

But I would change it to Carrie. Or Catherine.

I'll be honest, i always thought 'Kennedy Sloan' was a rather male name (particularly Kennedy as a forename, probably for its likeness to President Kennedy of which is the only other name i've heard it used, and of course Kenny) but hey; there's nothing wrong with unique names.

On a related note, i'm quite fond of unique names as opposed to the John and Jane Doe's of this world. Though i'm not entirely sure what i would change my name to. I've had a general fondness for the name Vitaly, but that's probably because of the character Vitaly Rogoza in the novel Day Watch. I'm not really fond of my current name Jonathan as it's a three syllable word (Jon-a-than) which irritates me to no end, and i don't always like it to be shortened to Jon, which people do on their own accord, as it feels far too informal. Which, when i'm trying to be serious, can be very offputting when somebody refers to me as such, and i don't like my surname. 'Reeder' is so bland; someone who cuts reeds. Bleh. Too everyman.

...Unfortunately, i've never actually thought of a suitable replacement for my name, though. Perhaps when i think of one i'll edit it in.
