I wouldn't. There was a lengthy period when I really hated my name, but at this point I honestly can't envision being anything but what I'm called. Plus my last name is awkward-sounding in conjunction with a lot of names, so my options are kinda limited.

this is basically what is up with my name. I used to hate my first name. but then i played golden sun and i loved ales, (which is also my nickname). my first name is really the only name that "flows" with my last name. well, the male version of it at least. it changes if its a boy or girl. -is for a guy, -i for a girl.

besides, The Eggplant is an awesome name!
