Characters so annoying that they almost ruined the game

Possibly Lymle from Star Ocean 4, i've seen plenty of people raging about her, but I found her kinda cute, tolerable even 'kay.

Pretty much everyone from FFXIII, seriously the charachters are all so bland it's like eating wall paper paste.

Navi from Ocarina of Time, and Tingle, should pretty much be universal.

Boy, you people have some exceptionally low tolerance levels. Esp. everyone who keeps griping about Navi. On the other hand, I grew up with a younger sister and if I could learn to tolerate her I can certainly tolerate one fairy whose just a little bit too helpful.

Yes but you can punch a younger sister, couldn't punch Navi. I know this as I tried and I have cousins, I can and have punched them. That and I never got that into the zelda games *flame shield up*.

Yeah, except it's hard to punch a younger sister when she runs away and hides in her room. I actually broke her door once when she did that, I shoulder checked the door and damaged the frame/door so it was jammed and couldn't open. Besides my sister would get exponentially louder and more high pitched after 5pm so compared to that Navi was a god send.

Laura in Silent Hill 2. She was... tolerable for most of the game, as in I could live without strangling her. Then comes that scene, the most devasating thing I've ever experienced in gaming, and she's right there, utterly destroying the moment with her stupid voice and stupid whining and I couldn't wait to get my hands around her neck and squeeze until her eyeballs popped out of their sockets.

John Marston from Red Dead: Redemption had a similar problem, but his was less bitching and more demanding, which was a bit less annoying if a bit more repetitive on his part.

I know Navi was kinda annoying, but I could put up with it.

I'd like to point a really annoying character in a movie. His voice was so grating, especially when tried to yell, which he did for about half the movie!

That kid who plays John Connor in Terminator 2! A voice more annoying than vuvuzelas!

Lymle from Star Ocean 4 was a shining beacon of SHUT THE F*** UP DAMMIT. The voice acting in that game was so bad that despite the fact I can only barely read the dialogue box things(because I have a standard definition TV) I chose to mute the TV whenever I play it. Lymle was the worst voiced character in a game whose voice acting was almost as bad as Chaos Wars'. Nevermind the fact that she was incredibly annoying as a character anyway.
