Characters so annoying that they almost ruined the game

I can't say I can think of one, the only characters I've ever seen that ever really got on my tits were characters that you could brutally murder the second you saw them or could pretty much phase out of the game through various methods, so I never really cared too much.

Lyner in Ar Tonelico. It says a lot when I can tolerate all the fanservice, innuendo, and immaturity that surrounds the game just fine but he still managed to drive me absolutely berserk. Some of the things he says and does are so stupid, so thoughtless, so socially inept, so completely lacking of any empathy what so ever that it made me want to scream. The most infuriating thing is that he really isn't a "bad" person so you can't even enjoy hating him, all you can do is sit there wanting to beat him to a pulp for in the hopes that he might stop being so incredibly dumb.

She just annoyed me... Thats why I left her back on Virmire...

Fixed to suit my opion, she was annoying, he was worse.

Also many of the aliens from KOTOR if the conversation went on long enough. If I hear one more E-chUta I am gonna go dark side on somebody's ass!

Boy, you people have some exceptionally low tolerance levels. Esp. everyone who keeps griping about Navi. On the other hand, I grew up with a younger sister and if I could learn to tolerate her I can certainly tolerate one fairy whose just a little bit too helpful.

Yes but you can punch a younger sister, couldn't punch Navi. I know this as I tried and I have cousins, I can and have punched them. That and I never got that into the zelda games *flame shield up*.

I would say the punching comment, hell I get annoyed to all hell because my sister wont shut up but the worst I do is tell her that's she adopted(shes not), I wouldn't hit her over it.
