Carmine, the first time.
I agree, but I'd also throw in Carmine the second time too. Their poor mother.

Here's hoping third time's a charm.

Isara Gunther. That was cold and brutal, especially when she only just reached out to Rosie and the two of them looked like they were about to get along together. But it's war, which seems to excuse a lot of callous behaviour with the evil empire antagonist, so it fits right in with the story. Still...I missed her

Plus I would like to say it would be best if the spoiler tag warned of what game was about to have it's shock character death. Just a heads up and all so we know what we're getting ourselves in for if the hidden spoiler is clicked

Qui Gon Booze?

He lasted the whole of the phantom menace and he made no sence at all. I think I've been watching too many of RedLetterMedia's reviews of phantom menace, but they are just so damn funny. I'd say Darth Maul instead. He did almost nothing in that whole movie, other than at the end. He just looked like a bad ass.

The Emperor from Oblivion. Seriously, PATRICK FUCKING STEWART and you kill him off in the first 5 mins...
That too, also your dad in Fallout 3! Sure he doesn't die, but he disappears for half the god-damned game! LIAM NEESON DAMMIT!
And THEN he dies one scene later.

Death Note Spoiler.

Matts death, he was pretty fucking badass, but we only really saw him a few times. Most of which were just background shots and when he does appear, he gets shot. Oh and did I mention he likes video games.

Duncan, from Dragon Age: Origins.
This. Duncan somehow managed to appeal to me no matter what path I set out on, that guy was a bad-ass. Plus he rock-climbed an ogre with his swords... just awesome.

I thought it was odd he knew he was going to die soon, but when you try to kill him he's like "WTF DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!" Uh.. how do you know I'm not supposed to kill you?

If I like a character over another, it's basically guaranteed they're going to die.

Jean Grey from X-Men.

Fred Weasley from Harry Potter.

etc etc.

Aerith. What, I loved the chick and I dedicated quite some time leveling her up.

Aerith from FF7. Mostly because if you actually take the time to get Great Gospel, unless you only grind with her, it is pretty useless at that point in the game. I think I was going to use it on Demon Wall and I ended up killing the thing before she even reached a limit break (half a dozen hits maybe?).

Isn't saying who the spoiler is about a spoiler in itself?
Well they don't know what I am spoiling about it do they? And its that or they reveal something they didn't want to know?
Based on the title of the thread, you're spoiling their death. Sure, they don't know the details, but they know that the character dies.
I guess but anyone can die can't they? Telling someone that someone dies in a game or a movie or whatever isn't going to give away much is it? I'd rather spoil a little than spoil a lot so to speak :p
Saying that someone dies is a massive spoiler. I don't know if you're a fan of the series, but how would you (or a fan of the series if you're not) have liked it if you had learned about that massive death related spoiler in the 6th Harry Potter book before you read it? Hmm?
JK announced pretty much from book 4 on that people would die each year, so everyone knew that characters were going to die. Saying who specifically is a massive spoiler yes, but saying that someone from the anime MSN, or the show Angel dies does not constitute a spoiler.

Depends on how many avatar t-shirts sold on xbox live for either side.
