My vote goes to Nero. He looks exactly like Dante, tries to be as badass as him and fails miserably. Also, at the beginning he is at his stupid cardboard cutout girlfriends concert and is listening to his headphones throughout. Some people may find it cool, but I just think he is being a dick.

Well, Jacob from ME2, but everyone seems to hate him.

Me too.I think he's just an inexpressive stock character and token team member.Every main human character on board the Normandy in ME1 was white and i think Bioware felt a little guilty. Couldn't they just stick with Anderson? He's badass enough to excuse the lack of black characters.

Moira from Fallout3. She's too happy and cheery, annoys the hell out of me. That and, oh yeah, her quests nearly kill you!
Rochelle, L4D2 - she just isn't Zoey.
Tali, Kaiden, Ashley and Jack from ME/ME2. All whiney and annoying.

But the character I hate the most, with unbrideled passion?
Edge, Ace Combat 5.
Get off your fucking high-horse you moaning *****! You're a fucking fighter pilot, you're going to end up killing people, get over yourself! And that voice...goes through me like fingernails on a chalk board. Honestly the most annoying character I have ever come across in a game. When Chopper went down, I was in tears. Of rage that is. Why couldn't Edge have bought it instead?
(That said, Ace Combat seems to have a thing for annoying characters, the wife in AC6 sent me round the bend too...)

I always liked Moira. Her cheery, innocent nature was always contrasting with the unforgiving nature of the wasteland. I bet you hated when she came back as a ghoul. And her criminal negligence was hilarious.

Nope, despite playing through 6 times, I have never nuked that town. And in hindsight, I suppose saying I 'hate' her is a bit extreme, I just find her a nuisance, who at times manages to annoy me.

There's only one I can think of. Characters like Big Smoke, Navi, Vaan and whoever else annoy me sure, but only one elicits pure blinding fury from me.

My only regret is never getting to put a knife between his shoulder blades.

The girl spartan in halo reach. She always gets in the way and can't shoot the warthog turrets for shit. She's always saying "get a move on 6" with no context, I could be across the other side of the map slaughtering the entire force while she stands there and tells me to get a move on.
