Only 39 percent? Where are these people?

I know that everyone in my school believes in evolution. Then again, I live in New York City. I assume most of the people who don't believe in the theory live in the south.
It's a pretty even split, to be honest.

Wow.... Glad I'm in the UK, where I can watch this decent piece of cinema from an Oscar winning producer, with Paul Bettany as Darwin. Honestly, it sounds great.

America really needs a kick up the arse.
(yes, I know all American's aren't like that, before some whiney ***** points it out)

I didn't think it was that low!

Thats it. Thats the last straw. I've had it with America, I'm moving to England.
Hello my friend you wanna have some crumpets and maybe a cup of tea? After that we can play some soccer or cricket. Also look at our women, they are beautiful.

Have fun in England.

Since when 71% of Americans are inbred rednecks from deep deep DEEP south? I thought that north (and California) held more population than, say,Louisiana.

I laugh derisively at people who slam down on the theory of evolution as being a load of crap that's full of holes, yet I can destroy 90% of pro-Christian arguments on almost any subject by simply stating "circular logic" at them.
thats the sad thing. some of them learn science just to debunk it.
Canada...
We Danes are riiight behind you!

Use the ["img"] function (without the " though). But you might wanna put your pics into a spoiler so your pic is not bigger than your post.

America: when you don't have an argument, link your opponent to Hitler.

Bush, Obama, Darwin, your neighbor, etc

>only 39 per cent of Americans believe in the theory of evolution
EDIT:
Movieguide.org, an influential site which reviews films from a Christian perspective, described Darwin as the father of eugenics and denounced him as "a racist, a bigot and an 1800s naturalist whose legacy is mass murder". His "half-baked theory" directly influenced Adolf Hitler and led to "atrocities, crimes against humanity, cloning and genetic engineering", the site stated.
wow. just wow. its only a movie and yet such hate and arrogance is displayed on the christian side. I'm not flamming christians but jesus they linked an 18th century naturlist to "Hitler"? goddamn.
I would like to point out that even though only 39% of Americans believe in the theory of evolution, that doesn't mean that the remaining 61% of Americans are Christian.

And that website which reviews films from a Christian perspective? Well that in no way sounded like a description of Darwin from an actual Christian perspective.

I'm not flamming christians but jesus they linked an 18th century naturlist to "Hitler"? goddamn.
No, the person who wrote that review linked Darwin to Hitler. Christians as a whole did not. Not trying to flame you or anything, but I am Christian myself, and while I certainly don't agree with all of Darwin's beliefs, I would never describe him in the way this reviewer did.

1. AND THEY HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONRY!?

2. 39% is still an audience, im assuming they have billions living in america, so 39% of that is still a pretty damn big number.
