you fight Zack and when when Hades is controlling him, he has an attack that I still can't dodge (I can only keep it from instantly killing me)
Yea that was a major "WTF!?!" moment the first few times he did that to me and killed me right at the beginning (I was playing on critical). All you really gotta do is right at the beginning of the fight, use shot-lock and you're invincible to his attack and you can put a good dent in him.

Now Xahenort in Terras story....FFFFUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

Or Vanitas in Aquas story (peter pan level and currently at) is bullshit. Stupid boss and forcing to go grind to even stand a bit of a chance.
Well, I never thought of using a Shotlock then. That'll be usefull for when you fight him (and Hades at the same time) in the Mirage Arena, that'll be helpful (since there isn't a retry option there).

Did you beat Ventus' story yet?
Yup, and his final battle wasn't too hard except for the very final part of it which at first is a little jarring. If you fuck it up you gotta start the whole abttle again which sucks, but his final battle was WAYYY easier than Terra's. That fucking Jelly fish boss in Ventus story though was a cheap whore always 1 hit KO'ing me. Yea I was playing on Critical difficulty but that's still bullshit.

I just have to finish Aquas story (which i already mention) so I can unlock the final chapter and see the secret vid and all.
Ok, in that case, collect all the stickers and items. Also, I beat all four stories and I can tell you that when you beat the final story there will be a boss that, while optional, will quickly become the bane of your existance.

No better yet in Devil May Cry 3, Last Boss Battle with Vergil:

Vergils CHEAP Azz super Devil Trigger 4 hit Helmbreaker!!!

Yes I call it that. It's when he leaps in the air then homes in on you and slashes you while he's in devil trigger form then teleports back in the air and does it again just as you're trying to get back up then teleports in the air again and brings his sword down on you just as you leap back up....and guess what? HE DOES IT ONE MORE FREAKING TIME, leaving your health to at least 1 sliver (If you're playing on hard).

No I mean it once you get caught in that attack prepare to get destroyed!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH I hate you Vergil!!

Jasper Batt Jr's teleporting punch attacks in No More Heroes 2. Almost impossible to dodge and they do a lot of damage.

I don't remember exactly how, but I dodged Zack's attack really easily.

I fought Xehanort in Terra's story a good five times before I finally beat him by going completely on the defensive. The move with all the boulders was the worst.

With Aqua against Vanitas timing is everything. And I used the Ignite spell. If it hits him it can drain a good portion of his health before it wears off.

But then again. I'm only playing on normal.

The final boss of Prototype.
He has most of the same attacks as you. This is all well and good (sarcasm) untill it unleashes its own form of the Tentacle Barrage Devastator (or as I like to call it, The Hentai Tentacle Death-Rape.) complete with the long range, and this attack instantly kills you!
It is worse considering he spends most of the match chasing after you and dicing your health down anyway only to use the HTDR whenever you are eating up the soldiers for health.

Pain in the ass.

Oh Yea I am completely aware of the Mysterious Figure and Vanitus' Lingering spirit; I fear how many times it will take to beat those assholes. I almost have all the reports and I'm not very concerned about the stickers.

...I don't think you can dodge Zacks omnislash attack in Terra's story, his attack is essentially a shotlock (this is the second part of the battle). The only way I have heard and seen is to shotlock him before he attack thus granting you invincibility. He can kill you with it in an instant on critical mode.

Xehenort in Terras story was the same deal, I'd get one unlucky mistimed block and he'd pull off some retarded full life combo.

And Vanitas is only pissing me off because Aqua SUCKS in terms of taking damage. And he will just pull off some bullshit attack because these asshole bosses pretty much ignore hit stun half the time.

The boss patterns aren't hard, it's the main fact that on critical mode you have the stamina of a toddler when fighting bosses. 2 or 3 hits is all it takes with these guys. Surprisingly enough Vanitas at the end of Ven's story was a joke.

Ever play Gundam: Battle Assault?

There was one boss who was so huge you could only see his legs. (This is a fighting game). When he decides to kick you it takes up the entire screen.

really, it took this long to be mentioned?
any way Trabuu from SSBB, whose favorite attack is an unblockable, undogeable, automatically-insta-kills-every-one-on-screen area attack that he spams at you every 4 seconds. The entire battle is an exercise in frustration, as a playing on co-op on any other setting than "ridiculously easy" means all your lives are lost in basically two, maybe three attacks. He is actually unbeatable at higher difficulty. Did I mention how the attack ista-K-os everyone on screen???

Freaking Emerald and Ruby Weapon in FFVII!!!!

AAAAAAAAGH 1 Million HP!?! FREAKING REALLY!?!?

Emerald:

Ruby:
Oh please,
Emerald = Mass Summon Knights of round table and use Active combat.

Ruby = Soloed with Cloud. Because that's the only way to kill him. He gets pretty easy then.

As for cheap bosses. Play Guilty Gear XX on Maniac story mode and get to Ino. She can activate moves that are instant kill if you don't avoid them correctly. One of them will hit you though no matter what. Not only that but she's so damn good at using her super moves in a way it will kill you.

She regens HP as well and your attacks does less damage the more you use them. :)

a ton of bosses on KH: BBS

Evil Zack can teleport and go berserk on you killing you in one attack from full health
The trinity boss can do a spinning attack that's really hard to dodge, kills you in two.
errr....some spoiler bosses are really cheap too.

Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid (Playstation)

It's a totally cheap and ridiculous attack - he "reads your mind" and dodges all your attacks. Your skill has nothing to do with it. Controller-throwingly difficult. Wait......maybe that's part of the solution......

Until I found out how to dodge it Tabuu's shock wave attack from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and if you're wondering how you dodge it you have to sidestep, you can sidestep by holding the shield button and pressing left or right, at least I think that's how you do it... can someone confirm this for me?
Also this really reminds me of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=FLzCfUM7BM8

Well, though not the most difficult thing in the world, Lenus from Legend of the Dragoon would attack like eight times in a row with area effect magic spells, let you retaliate once, and then immediately do it again. I thought it was some sort of glitch. If you try to fight her with your lower level characters, she just kills them before they can attack. It's bullshit!

So, this isn't a boss, but it's still cheap.

Various Final Fantasies, Malboro, Bad Breath. Every status effect?? What the hell is that?!!
