I have to agree. AND probably so 13 year old boys read the thread title and go 'OOOO CHEERLEADERS!!!' and click and read without thinking for a second..MaxTheReaper said:Wasn't planning on getting one anyway.
'Cause it's "tragic."TheNumber1Zero said:Sounds all very weird.
Also, why does it matter that she's a Cheerleader?
Now she can't ever achieve her dream, just like 99% of the rest of the world.
I must admit, I am of a similar opinion.Superior Mind said:I don't believe it for a second.
Is a psychological problem not a medical condition that can cause physical symptoms? Also, I am sure if your sister is really a medical professional, as my wife also is, she would reserve judgement until she had a chance to study and examine this person. The doctors that did have said she has dystonia, which by all accounts is very real. Yeah, she could be faking, but I don't think you or I are in any position to be able to determine that with all certainty, right?Bright_Raven said:one of the cures include "money"... it is psychological, my sister deals with these people every day.
*sigh*MaxTheReaper said:Baby, how could you talk about me like that in front of company?
Thank you two for getting to it before I could. Unfortunately, I fear that even if she had been homely and going nowhere, there would still have been people calling her names anyway.Disaster Button said:Yeah I know what you mean with the whole annonymous insulting, it's kind of sad really.chronobreak said:Yeah, the hoax was orchestrated by the dad, but the other two kids must have come into play, I mean they were like 8 years old, there's no way they would have thought they were putting on a show. Maybe the little kid didn't know, but one of the brothers probably did.Disaster Button said:I think the guy was trying to say while it could be true (but doubtful) it isn't because of the flu shot, which is what was being it advertised as. He wasn't saying the disease itself is a hoax but the cause, or the fact that she has it even.
And wasn't the Balloon Boy Hoax orchastrated by the father? I seem to remember the son outing the dad on live TV..
What I was trying to say originally was people should refrain from calling her a *****. That was my whole point. Personally, I don't care if her disease is real or fake, it does not affect my life at all. I just don't like seeing people thinking they have such impunity to cowardly call a person names over the internet, it gets my goat. None of these people would say it to her face. She gets diagnosed with dystonia and people from around the world are going to attack her character? I'd like to think The Escapist can do better than that, myself.
Besides calling her a ***** is unnecessary.
Damn you for making that, I can't stop laughing.noodles loves you said:It's time:

I'm in the same boat. It all seemed far too convenient how it works.MaxTheReaper said:Wasn't planning on getting one anyway.
