Beauty Pageants in general is a stupid and tasteless idea, regardless of the age and species of the contestants. But when it goes into using underage children, then it just moved beyond from being only tasteless and stupid into being flat out disturbing...

Beauty pageants always disturb me, but they're especially bad when children are involved. It always seems like the parents are living vicariously through their kids, which will probably damage the kid irreparably and is just sort of sick in general.

Okay, those definitely horrified me. I mean, I've seen the pageants, but who the fuck does that? Those poor kids will have to grow up knowing their parents were disappointed because they didn't look like CGI barbies.

I think this is the one time I can shout "SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!" and it is completely justified.

The pageants are an abomination, it is definitely child abuse on soo many levels.
