Absolutley disturbing bothj on the levels of it essentialy amounting to child abuse physically and mentally and the fact that its fuckin legal seriously?!? Added ot the fact its pretty much softcore pedophilia, and holy shit not one of those judges in the videos looked sane.
It's so sad that the moms actually take that stuff so seriously. They should cultivate their childrens inner beauty and intelligence. No wonder there is a generation full a superfical kids who think only of their outside appearances.
This is just one more example of the idiosyncratic and contradictory nature that the US feels towards sex or admitting humans are sexual beings.
Sex is a big no-no. Yet most of these god fearing southern christian paegent moms think nothing of whoring up and turning out their daughters to be judged like veal at a meat market. Children are not meant to be sexual beings, they have no secondary sex characteristics, yet many of these whack jobs spend tens of thousands of dollars to get their child to look like they are far older than they have any right to look(for example by adjusting hip to waist ratios with corsetts, I shit you not).
The only reason I know anything at all about this sick, depraved and twisted world is because once upon a time I wanted to be a journalist and this was the very topic I chose to be the in-deapth story that would bust me into the big time.
Needless to say I after about a month wading knee deep through the horseshit world of paegents I was put off being a journalist(among other things like food). there are some things in life that I am all too happy never to know about and be blissfully ignorant of. This was one of those things but unfortunetly what has been seen cannot be unseen and now I will be taking this knowledge with me to the grave.

Isn't this the same country which has 18 as the age of consent and many view anything sexual between someone over 18 and someone younger than 18 makes the older person an evil satanic beast who should be put down? And yet it's legal to parade 7 year old girls on stage so that they judged by how beautiful they are, or how "hot" to use the more modern term? I can't help but wonder if all this talk of pedophilia is just another excuse to be violent with such hypocrisy. Although I don't know too much about the U.S.

They are misogynist and sexist. They also emphasis material beauty over more meaningful things like personality. I also think they set an unreasonable standard and cause a degradation of self-esteem. Anything invented by men to ogle woman and judge them by said ogling is evil.
