Is Crysis considered Sci-fi? Because I would like that suit...otheriwse the DEATH STAR! With Vader too! And maybe the force and lightsabers...but only for Canadians!

Some kind of power armour. Probably the Iron Man suit.
Make your army nigh-indestructible, and you win. Until someone inevitably sells the schematics to the other side...

The fully upgraded Normandy 2 from Mass Effect 2 would be an amazing ship to have on your side during a war. Stealth capabilities, powerful cannons, and EDI would give you a huge advantage in any battle.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

I want my own Normandy SR2...

Millennium Falcon, I wouldn't use it at war, I'd just go around with a Newfoundland (I don't know if they have them in America, but they look like a cross-breed between a dog and a bear) in the cockpit and look badass.

Could we go with a replicator from Star Trek? That would be fun. I am thinking of all non violent things for some reason like the Sonic Screwdriver or the Tardus, or possibly a DeLorean, sadly none of these are weapons so... the Messer from Falout 3.

Granted, the death star already won this thread, However, in the spirit of sportsmanship, you put a railgun from Eraser into the hands of a marine corps sniper, and it would turn the tide of any battle.

the Sol satellite from Akira, or any of the other orbital beam weapons, really. You've got that unavoidable death-from-above factor like you've got with the Death Star, without all the hassle of there not being any planet left after you fire it.

The Ark from Halo 127,000KM of pure goodies

If a technical spacestation is off limits the Covenant Super carrier; 27km of death dealing equipment.

A moon base with a rail gun. Fires a chunk of metal that hit with the force of a nuke without all that pesky radiation.

It's probably been said by this point but I'd choose mech.

If I wanted to keep things fair for the other side I'd pick the original RX 78 Gundam. Competent on land, with a computer that can learn from battles, not to mention a kickass lightsaber, plasma rifle, and miniguns in the head. Add in thrusters and the ability to fight in space and make re entry and the enemy would be screwed.

However if I wanted them to have no chance in hell I'd go with something like an EVA unit or Gurren Lagann, basically something that would crush them in a matter of days.

A Marine-Marauder-Medivac ball.

So long as they don't create Colossi, Siege Tanks or Banelings I'm pretty much set.

Eh. Space Marine battle barges
Or the drug gun from Shaowrun 4E. It's a pistol that fires liquid that contains a compound that forces you skin to absorb the liquid and anything else in it. Like say, hallucinogens. Or poison if your are a dull person who is not amused by the prospect of a side arm that can make your foes start licking the walls.

A General Motors Bolo of the Line.

MK XX Bolo (Tremendous):

"All right, Unit DNE of the line. Why did you do it? This is your Commander, Unit DNE. Report! Why did you do it? Now, you knew your position was hopeless, didn`t you? That you`d be destroyed if you held your ground, to say nothing of advancing. Surely you were able to compute that. You were lucky to have the chance to prove yourself."
For a minute I thought old Denny was too far gone to answer. There was just a kind of groan come out of the amplifier. Then it firmed up. General Bates had his cupped behind his ear, but Denny spoke right up.
"Yes, sir."
"You knew what was at stake here. It was the ultimate test of your ability to perform correctly under stress, of your suitability as a weapon of war. You knew that. You knew that General Margrave and old Priss Grace and the press boys all had their eyes on every move you made. So instead of using common sense, you waded into that inferno in defiance of all logic-and destroyed yourself. Right?"
"That is correct, sir."
"Then why? In the name of sanity, tell me WHY! Why, instead of backing out and saving yourself, did you charge? .....Wait a minute, Unit DNE. It just dawned on me. I`ve been underestimating you. You KNEW didn`t you? Your knowledge of human psychology told you they`d break and run, didn`t it?"
"No, sir. On the contrary, I was quite certain that they were as aware as I that they held every advantage."
"Then that leaves me back where I started. Why? What made you risk everything on a hopeless attack? Why did you do it?"
"For the honor of the regiment."

Year 2796, Deng Conflict. Field Test.
What is this from? I want to read it now. (If it's a book, otherwise replace "read" with the appropriate verb)

OT: I would probably go with the Trooper II Cyborgs from the book "The Legion of The Damned". They can engage anything from infantry to fighter craft, and win.
