I have always wondered....why does everyone on the internet relate to Chuck Norris in someway like he is a god amoungst mortals or something? You always see people on the internet randomly mention Chuck Norris in a thread on forums, just 5 minutes ago i saw someone say that Price in Mw2 could be from the same species as Chuck Norris >.>...what makes him such an Icon?! Even in Family Guy they go on about Chuck Norris being so tough he has a fist under his beard..what is it about him that makes everyone go on about him >.>

You probably weren't aware of the Chuck Norris bandwagon a few years ago. Back in 2006 (I think), some people thought it would be hilarious to make up all these crazy internet facts about Chuck Norris that made him both a badass and a parody of himself. Those "facts" became their own category of jokes.

I call it a "bandwagon" because it didn't take long for CN jokes to lose their popularity, although they were good when they lasted. However, it seems they're slowly returning.

But to answer your question, Kungfu: because it's just humor.
