I have always wondered....why does everyone on the internet relate to Chuck Norris in someway like he is a god amoungst mortals or something? You always see people on the internet randomly mention Chuck Norris in a thread on forums, just 5 minutes ago i saw someone say that Price in Mw2 could be from the same species as Chuck Norris >.>...what makes him such an Icon?! Even in Family Guy they go on about Chuck Norris being so tough he has a fist under his beard..what is it about him that makes everyone go on about him >.>

I don't even know, he's become a metaphor for awesome kickassery

Well, an obvious answer would be that he doesn't afraid of anything.
But if I wasn't a dumb ass, I'd say it's because of the respect he's gather from all the action packed roles he's played in his movies and TV shows.

All of the Chuck Norris jokes are mainly "for the lulz" and that's fine but, when people constantly push the joke saying how its so funny and just say, Chuck Norris jokes as their way of being funny, well as Droopy said, "That makes me mad."

ARAAGH! *continues rant*okay I'm good. But why is it that everybody worships celebritys, not just Chuck Norris (whom to be honest with you all I've never really heard of(true)) that annoys me. No-one is that strong and no-one is perfect. If Chuck Norris takes that as a personal insult then he has bleeding Narcassist Personality Disorder and I wouldn't want to touch anyone with that with a ten mile pole (if such excisted).

If it makes you feel better, Chuck Norris apparently hates all of these jokes and doesn't find any of them funny...

I can see why such jokes exist though. World class martial artists tend to be the closest thing we have to actual superhero's. It makes sense that people would idolize them in such a manner. There are much worse things to get upset about...

My guess is that the meme exists because of all those movies that paint him as the ultimate badass.
The internet found lulz in it, and thus Chuck Norris jokes were born.

Also, the reason Family Guy did it is because they couldn't come up with any good jokes(as they often can't) so they just ripped from the internet in hopes of cheap laughs.

The only people who think Chuck Norris is a God incarnate are the people who have never seen this movie.
Chuck's skill as a martial artist and an all-around manly man is admirable, but there's only one true master, and that's Bruce Lee.
