He rapped on the table with his fingers, growing slowly impatient. Wondering whether staring was managing to slow down the process somehow, he turned back to the table to see Nazarius.
Hammond searched back to understand how long Naz had been sitting there before finally giving up on the endless questions to himself. Surely he could just let this go and wait until the food came to him...
Luckily he didn't have to wait long. The ginger haired waitress returned with a plate of food[footnote]Of the ambiguous variety[/footnote] and, upon placing it in front of Hammond, gave a small curtsy. "Will that be all, sir?"
He looked to Naz, who looked like he could probably use something to eat, and then back to the waitress, "Fetch something for my friend here."
"Of course." She curtsied again and then wandered back toward the kitchen.
