I'm on the fence really. I don't like the idea of interchangeable killstreaks, and Second Chance is basically telling me not to buy the game...I'll probably end up buying it, but I hope it lasts longer than Modern Warfare 2 did before it became a shit-heap.

Most of MW2 is balanced, you just need the correct set up and a bit of luck, Harrier getting you down? predator its ass, its the fastest way to kill it.

Attack chopper?, you best have a class with a Javelin already set up before the match!

Thats what the highly effective counter maneuver of "hiding and sucking your thumb for a minute and perhaps hugging a comforting blanket" was designed for, that fucking noise that plane makes, *shivers*.

It looks like they are taking some vital notes from Bungie. You can spot in a few videos, that in the starting lobby, there is another space that says "add controller for splitscreen". 2-Players online on one console! Awesome!

Also, customizable appearance, the ability to veto maps and the new video editor. Looks great.

I'm a staunch supporter of playing all maps, because otherwise it ends up that everyone has to play the same fucking map constantly, I'll play unliked maps till the cows come home, they are only disliked because they don't work to that players playstyle.

Well the general idea is to try and make it that there are no 'most powerful' weapons.

Watch this... 0.44... proof that (with the ballistic knife at least), there is no lunge and you must be right up in thier face to get the melee kill. Hooray!

I also like shotguns being a secondary, 'cos it's like having two primaries.

How is that different from any other FPS? Everyone migrates to the "good" guns eventually. By the end of CoD4's life, everyone used either the M16 or the MP5. They were just the best. Anyone who used other shit just died a lot.

I beg to differ, I thought the AK-47 and AK-74u were just as good as, if not better than, those two.

Higher damage and once you got control of the recoil they were beastly! I do much better with my AK than with the M16.

now the only thing is that there needs to be local split screen on games, why o why did they start to phase that out?? PLUS they need to start making games cross-platform I mean come one really is it that big of a deal!? It's like console racism.

You can take two-player splitscreen online now. Splitscreen zombie mode too, as well as straightup splitscreen multiplayer (with bots, too!).
