Well thats is, watching these vids, and hearing about the perks, killstreaks and such has convinced me to get Black Ops.
I know, it's great. They really seem to be trying to balance the game well, the only perk I wasn't happy to see was Secnd Chance. Not G. Ivingname said:[
OT: Ok, now I am interested. Without Stopping Power, everything changes. Everybody will be able to mix and match perks without worry about losing direct fire fights against somebody with Stopping Power. Being able to dive out of the way will help a LOT against instant kill explosives.
According to Hutch, it's like Chopper Gunner from MW2 but without the heat vision, and it moves realy slowly so is quite tough to get kills with...sooperman said:Gunship - Either an AC130 or something akin to a Pavelow.
There are no killstreaks in the Gun Game mode.Hardcore_gamer said:The gun game sounds like something that could get really unbalanced. What if some player get unlucky at the start or if someone scores a kill streak at the start of the game? Won't it just result in player fighting against unfair odds?
If the developers balance the games properly everyone would play this way. Sadly, more often than not they fuck it up.Fingolfin High-King of the Noldor said:That's true enough. But that's not how I play it so I don't like that it works that way. I like to use every weapon as much as I can and most of the time my favorite weapon ends up being pretty lack luster compared to the rest.
I just wish the rest of the community played as I did...
I second this.masseyguy911 said:Well thats is, watching these vids, and hearing about the perks, killstreaks and such has convinced me to get Black Ops.
I'm starting to think Zombies will be a free DLC.DanielPowell33 said:From what I've read on other sites, it seems like the regular edition of the game won't have the zombie mode, but I can't find a clear answer.
I know the hardened edition is getting four exclusive co-op maps, but does that mean that its getting four more maps that the regular edition, or are the extra maps the zombie mode?
I sure hope so, I'd rather not have to spent extra for it. I'd be happy with just one zombie map on the regular edition if they decide not to go the free DLC route.MiracleOfSound said:I'm starting to think Zombies will be a free DLC.DanielPowell33 said:From what I've read on other sites, it seems like the regular edition of the game won't have the zombie mode, but I can't find a clear answer.

Well, being the one person in the known universe who didn't enjoy Zombie mode at all, I'm not too bothered either way.DanielPowell33 said:I sure hope so, I'd rather not have to spent extra for it. I definately see your point alright.Hardcore_gamer said:This means that the whole game balance of the game mode is relying on all of the players not being all that ahead of each other. I am not just saying that, I am talking out my own experiences with the game mode albeit from Counter-Strike: Source and not Call if Duty.
O sweet, I didn't know that. Well fingers crossed they keep it. I missed the MW boat I've playing bad company 2 instead.Funkiest Monkey said:You can take two-player splitscreen online now. Splitscreen zombie mode too, as well as straightup splitscreen multiplayer (with bots, too!).Fortuan said:now the only thing is that there needs to be local split screen on games, why o why did they start to phase that out?? PLUS they need to start making games cross-platform I mean come one really is it that big of a deal!? It's like console racism.
You'll probably see a lot less of them. In Black Ops, not everyone will have dogs like WaW, and it will take 11 kills to get them instead of 7.arc1991 said:I was getting psyched while reading this, till i saw Dogs...my jaw dropped at the fact of me having to kill those fuckwits again.
