Having completed two bachelor's degrees and law school, I offer you the following advice:

1) Live at home if you can stand it. The biggest problem you will have is juggling school and work. If you live at home, your expenses will be minimized. That means you don't have to stress about money and can focus on doing well. Your parents will realize that you are an adult now and should give you leeway. Also, enough of your friends will be on their own so you should have many places to go and get away when you need to.

2) Do your best to ask around about different professors. The same class can be very different depending on who is teaching. Make sure you get a good one...and that doesn't necessarily mean the easiest.

3) Plan out your courses at least a year in advance. You don't want to be stuck having a crappy schedule. Some courses are taught ONLY at specific times. So if you don't plan far ahead, you may wind up having to take extra semesters because you can't get all the classes you need. Or you may wind up having one class at 8 am, one at 12:30, and one at 2:30. That sucks!

4) Don't bother with a lot of organizations unless they are specific to your major. They take a lot of time and the ones that aren't specific to your major won't really add anything important to your resume.

5) If you plan to go to graduate school, DO NOT (I repeat, DO NOT) drop classes. Schools lose money when students drop classes and even more when they drop out completely. When a graduate school sees that you dropped a lot of classes, they will be hesitant to accept you.
