Name:Quetzalcoatl

Element: Once the ruler of the wind now is king of the Nether and all Distorted, maddening and cruel things that resides within it.

Physical description: He has three forms, A old bearded man, His true form which is a massive stone plated flying serpent and a Tall, slim and faceless creature wearing a black business suit.

His true form

"Him"

History: One of the oldest of the colossi is Quetzalcoatl, during the time when man was just wandering the earth worshiping the elements and following the ways where wind blew, he made sure they always brought them to safety. He pushed the first sail ship. But as man settled and put the earth under their plow and cleared forests, he became furious and held great spite for the humans, the only ones who where safe from his hate was those who still wanderd the world.

He slowly changed from a loving god to that which was only spoken in whispers. He stopped blowing the wind, only after a hundred years did another colossi took up that role,he wanted to not destroy those who defaced the earth, but to make them suffer,he looked for a source. He found "pathways" through the veil of reality where he found the realm of the Nether. He conquered this infernal plane and made it his realm. Though his power is great, it is limited to where he is, if he is close to a Nether gate his power is beyond anyone can comprehend, but in areas where there is no gate he must rely on reserved power. To those few who traveled to his realm by accident or determination to kill him, they both passed through nether gates, a nether gate can be anything, to long stretch of road or a mountain path that few now about.
All Creatures humans fear, most come from the Nether, their mission is to bring fear into their feeble hearts.

With his new powers he influenced the minds of men, his favorite was the Aztecs, he promised them rain if they just made sacrifices on a mass scale to "empower him" he said. He made sure rain never came. As time passed on he tired of being a god to men and decided to wander the earth in his third form. He delighted in the terror of the creatures he despised. He would snatch children and take them to his realm. But his favorite where adults, they could be broken down until they where nothing but shaking forms praying for death,he made sure they where not answerd. When the time came for the humans to wiped from the earth he rested in cool waters of the Texcoco lake. For millennias he rested until it was time for the awakening and that time has came.

Bio: He is a wise but aggressive being, he is absolutely mad from the years of living in the Nether. He acts cunningly and plot out but at times aggressively and blood thirsty that only millions of years of hatred can bring.

(hopes this fits in with the RP)
sorry, nopez....

Ahan walked through the once-streets of Londontown. He made no sound as he passed the crumbling buildings and small packs of his pets. He smiled as he saw one of his frog-pets building a lean-too. The frogs were coming along nicely. There was a bang as another nearby builing exploded, this sort of thing happened all too often, a side effect of living near so many gods. He realy had to consider talking to them about making London taboo for their fights, but that would give his position away. Another bolt came and knocked over the frog-pet's leant-too. Ahan bit down on his cigar in annoyance but walked on.

Later, the frog-pet would be surprised to find his lean-too returned to its half finished state, causing the entire tribe to gather and finally form some semblance of religion.

Umbra awoke from his slumber with a deep rumble, feeling a reawoken instinct tugging him back into conscioussness. He sent out a few probing tendrils to inspect the area outside his cave and winced inwardly as the sun dissipated them. He reverted to his base form and, ensuring he was well protected enough from the sun, let instinct guide him to his unknown destination.

"Oh joy, time to fight in the sun with the bigger colossi." He murmured to himself in mild annoyance shortly before turning a small animal's shadow on itself. After all:he had to find himself entertained somehow

At first, the streets of the once-great but now ruined city were empty. Then Aeon appeared, sword drawn and on the lookout for enemies. When he was certain he was alone, he pulled a pocket watch out of his coat and flipped it open. At a first glance it seemed like a normal watch but a look at it's face would quickly tell you otherwise. It was covered with bizarre symbols that only meant anything to Aeon. This watch was not meant to tell what time of the day it was but rather what point in time you were in. "Right on time." Aeon chuckled to himself as he snapped the watch shut and put it back in his pocket. "Now... Let's see what this world has to offer me."

As Aeon walked through the city, he found himself drawn to a the crumbled ruins of what was once a giant clock tower. This seemed as good a place as any to set up a lair, but it needed a little fixing first. Aeon focused all his powers onto the tower and slowly it began to rebuild itself. When time had finished being turned back, the grand clock tower loomed over all the other still-destroyed buildings making it seem that much more wonderful. Before entering, Aeon set traps around the entrance, areas where time is distorted so anyone who stepped in them would experience 100 years for every second that went by in regular time. Even to a colossus, this would be disorienting and leave them stunned for a bit. Even if the use of his powers went unnoticed, this tower definitely stood out and would surely attract the attention of other colossi. Aeon sat down and began to wait patiently. "The stage is set. Now I just have to hope someone interesting shows up."

The Atlantic waters were cold. They had always been cold. Amphitrite enjoyed it that way. Yes sometimes she took small vacations in the shallow lakes and warm pools further inland, but nothing was better than the bottomless sea. Still, she knew that it was almost time to bring forth life again. When was the last time this had happened? Millenia ago. So far in the past that not even the water colossus, to whom centuries were mere seconds, could remember.

A pair of bright eyes illuminated the depths, and silky tresses flowed out of the way as she swam to the surface. Where am I? It was more of a rhetorical question. She knew where she was. She knew where the continents had placed themselves. But the names always changed. Then again, what were names to the gods?

Amphitrite dragged herself out of the water, taking a small form, no taller than 20 feet, to explore the shore. If there was anything she had learned, it was that there was always a colossus within a couple miles of another...

i find it funny that you talked about seconds and centuries :p i didnt see your post until after i posted mine xD

They had all been called, to this wasteland, an unknown force pulling them together to this once buried city in the sands, a vast desert surrounding it, mountains far on one side and a dark ocean on the other. Why they were being called together was not certain, all that is known is that a battle is to be had in this land.

Umbra saw a reforming tower off in the distance and narrowed his eyes, realizing now that he was not the only one to have awoken. His options were slim, he realized: He either faced Aeon's sword or another Colossi's size and neither was a favorable option. He decided, eventually, to head away from the city, instead heading towards the shore, though he endeavoured to stick a bit closer to the dry land, in case he should run into Amphitrite and the water Colossus wasn't in a friendly mood.

"Umbra..."

She realized that it had been a long time since she had spoken to another colossus. Still, she decided to approach him, reducing her size again to some 8 feet so that she would not be intimidating. In her wake she left a small pool of the water she shed, in case she needed it.

"Greetings, brother. How are you?"

"I'd be doing alot better if it weren't for the sun. I don't like feeling exposed."

Umbra replied, doffing his hat and nodding politely as he stepped back a few paces, placing himself in the shade of a tree and letting out a sigh of relief as a shroud of shadow covered him once more, obscuring his clothing but otherwise leaving his form unaffected.

"And yourself?" He queried with a light grin, though the movement of his lips was somewhat hard to detect when his face lacked definition.

A sleek form darted swiftly over the wind-scarred terrain, silhouetted by the deeply dipping sun. His paws carried him ever forward towards nowhere in particular. He simply knew that it was time to move again.

He had felt the change on the wind a few days before as he awoke from another long slumber. How long had he been sleeping this time? A decade? A century? Even more?

It didn?t really matter anymore. The era had shifted from under his feet. The sun had finally set on the age of man?on his age. The flames of industry had finally been blown out by some catastrophic event. The beast sighed and released a wisp of smoke as he pushed onward. The humans had not used his gift to the fullest possible potentially. They certainly understood the uses of it. There was no doubt about that. No...it was the art that they did not understand. The subtle flicker of an ember. The crackle of the blaze. The shaping of fire as though it were a ball of clay. These were the gifts he wished man had received.

The creature came to a stop at the side of a cliff. He gingerly alighted upon his hindquarters and whipped his luscious tail in the wind. His calm eyes surveyed the landscape ahead of him.

Nothing was as it once was. The entirety of the land had shifted into itself and created an almost hellish collage of environments. The cities that had stood for millennia either slept in ruins or had vanished without a trace. The signs of a bygone war were still evident; the landscape was pocked by craters telling the story of the folly of man.

But that would not be the last war this land would see.

Velox Vulpes knew this. He had seen it all happen before. His brothers and sisters would be stirring soon. They would be drawn into conflict for one reason or another. This is the way it had always been before and the way it would surely remain.

The fox stretched out for a moment and yawned in such a fierce manner he sent shivers down his own spine. A satisfied smirk settled upon his face.

?It?s time to go seek some friends,? he muttered under his breath. ?I have a feeling I?m going to need them before the day is through.

With that, V gracefully leapt from the side of the cliff to field below.

Even as the seas began writhe with the need for new life, so too did the land swell with potential. Creatures once more returned, bu the potentual would not be denied, and it rose up in a great tide.

The earth accelerated, an awareness spanning centuries quickening to a second by second mentality. The mountains shook, the hills flowed like water, and once more the clay grew tell. The Earthfather walked again.

As he climbed to his feet, he noticed a tiny light arc from his hand, and recognised the Colossus of Fire. It had been milenia since they had last spoken, but still he called out

"Velox Vulpes! Was I so deeply asleep that you could not recognize your brother?"

The earth shook violently around V as the land shifted and reformed. A familiar booming voice shook him to his very core. The fox smiled as he called back to the enormous colossus.

?Old one! I was beginning to fear that I wouldn?t see a familiar face around these parts.?

The beast?s voice carried surprisingly well in spite of his size. However, these did not seem the optimal terms for a conversations. He quickly climbed one of the nearby crags hoping to gain at least a little altitude on the grand creature. He was discouraged by how ineffective this turned out to be.

V shrugged nonchalantly and hailed the titan again.

?How was your rest Earthfather??

"Too deep, yet still my dreams were troubled" rumbled the Jotun, "I awoke from chaos to find only this wasteland, and it leaves me sad. I too had feared I would be alone, but it heartens me to find a fellow."

Crouching, the Earthfather reached out a hand for V to stand upon "Have you been awake long, little flame?"

Stonder stood atop a mountain as he picked up his last rib cage, he couldn't feel the wind in the sky, as his body is made of bones, though he was glad he final had control of his body.

He looked down from the mountain and saw a vast wasteland a fitting battlefield for a fight that will lead to the deaths of gods. He then looked up and saw a clear sky, he felled it was empty without him but nothing could make him give up this form.

'BROTHERS AND SISTERS, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME SHOW YOURSELF' he boomed from the top of the mountain.
