scout - brooklyn new york
The Scout is from Boston and if he were a real person would be flaming you because of the hate instilled in him for New Yorkers.

the reason the scout achievement 'a year to remember' is 2004 kills is that's when the Red Sox finally ended their 'curse'

Then again I guess ignorance is bliss if you think the Sniper is Brittish
that whole year to remember achievement i am really not sure how i am supposed to know what its about i live in the uk, american baseball isnt something we take much notice of.

But you still didn't have to make a rant thread about it where you were incorrect?

The one which I was never sure about was the spy. I know Valve have said he's French, but before I read that I couldn't tell from the accent. I do love the accents/characters though.

Texas is not Southern! Nor is Florida. Virginia isn't either, dispite their wanting to be.
Hang on, Texas isn't Southern? I would say that anything bordering Mexico is Southern.
Although you're probably talking about accents, in which case sorry. And, as bad as it sounds, most US accents *do* seem to blend into one another when you don't live there.

He's definitely Australian, though I think they purposely meant to make him a bit of a mish mash of English/Australian cultures to poke fun at the fact some Americans can't tell the difference, though it could also be because its set in the 60's when England had much more influence on Australia then it does now. Its annoying they have characters coming from France and Scotland but none from England, well maybe the pyro's English?
