I have never played any real time strategy game without using cheats to acquire massive amounts of resources. I simply will not spend any more than a cursory amount of time gathering resources before I unleash swarms of units. The only time I didn't was in the campaign of the Dawn of War games (and that was only because cheat would not work) and I didn't play any higher than the easiest difficulty.

I used cheat all the time when I had my N64. I'm actually thankful Ocarina of time had no cheats, or I would have cheated on that too and it'd have been ruined forever. The last time I used a walkthrough was to get the last bug in twilight princess. A yellow bug, in the desert. I know they light up at night, but it's still not much help when I didn't even know it was there god damnit!

I've used cheats and walkthroughs plenty of times. But I only use them on my second playthrough to get 100% completion, after I've beaten the game legit.

I used the Konami code for Contra, but then again, beating that without it nigh impossible.

I Spec nade people who purposely spawn kill in CoD 4. I really don't care as people who purposely camp outside of a spawn so people can't move the spawn deserve it. Fair enough if you actually go into the spawn and kill them then as in CoD games that causes the spawn to change. The people who just camp outside giving people no chance really deserve every nade they get.
