Pretty self explanitory, I was just wondering if people who primarily play on consoles will be getting minecraft?

As for me, I probably will mainly because most of my friends only play on console and I want to play it with them and not some strangers on a Norwegian server. yes, that actually happened, my first experience of Minecraft, not that it was bad.

Not a console gamer at all, but I got a question that maybe someone that´s interested in the console port would know about: Additional add ons, free for console? Or will Microsoft force Mojang to turn it into pay DLC?

I bought Minecraft not too long ago and have only played it a couple of times since. It just doesn't have any staying power for me...

I tried the pc version at a mates house......not for me really, I get the creative aspect of it but I just ended up setting things on fire in the end.

No... it's not coming out on PS3 is it?
And if it wanted to play it on Xbox, i'd have to pay for XBL, and Microsoft would probably pull a massive dick-move...

Besides, i have it on PC and i'm perfectly fine with it there.
PLUS MODS!

Try playing it with a couple of friends or possibly on a populated SMP server. After playing Single Player for a few days I found it to be extremely boring which is why I switched to multiplayer. Not only have I never looked back but I'm having loads of fun.

Even though I am primarily a console gamer, I don't think so. Mostly because I bought it for the PC and don't see the point in paying $60 for a game I already have. It also seems a bit more suited for the PC.

I already bought the PC version not too long ago. It's pretty fun building stuff, but I haven't really touched it in a while since I've been kinda bored with it. I have been told multiplayer is where it's at though, maybe one day I will saunter back.

Nope, but not just because I am a console gamer. It's just not my type of game. I would get bored very soon.

I play on PC with my sister, we do a private smp server, so we won't get the xbox version - why bother? 2 player on xbox, if even possible, would mean split-screening or staying together. We don't do mods, but we do do texture packs.

I am a console gamer and having tried Minecraft on a friend's PC, I can safely say I am not interested in the slightest.

Games with ZERO objective just don't grab me.

Yes, yes, a million times yes. I guess playing on xbox Live with my friends is easier (for me) than making a dedicated server for us. Sadly it means no custom texture packs but I can live with that. It'll just be more fun to be playing with friends without other people getting in the way.

I would except i already own it for pc, i fully enjoy turning pristine wilderness into hollowed out wastelands, as long as he dose not add physics to dirt im fine. If he does my world is going to collapse one chunk at a time

For me, definitely. I'm not much of a PC gamer so having, in my opinion, the greatest PC game ever made come to console is a win-win situation. I just hope that they include everything they practically can on the console version.

depens on how much it costs cuz i'm cheap.(and only if it's microsoft points so i could get them from the rewards instead of paying{even if it's like 7 months to wait}).
