Hell yeah. The only reason Im not playing the PC version is because I dont trust my computer to run it properly, and because I can't be bothered to sort out the payment system. If it just pops up on the XBLA one day, it's an easy buy.

No. It's just really not my thing. Taking hours and hours to build an awesome castle with a lava moat might sound like some peoples idea of a good time, but not to me. It really reminds me of all those 'World Building' games like the Sims series or something like that and I've never really been into those games.

Plus I already tried out some of the knock-off Indie games and found them incredibly boring. I really don't see how the real thing could be that much better

like yahtzee said; "minecraft knows you'll get bored with your massive cock and balls if it just gives it to you, so it gives you $10 a month to wash the car (or something) and when you have saved up enough it makes your cock and balls so much better."
its not the making, its the whole 'I fucking made that!' mentality.

I have Total Miner, I prefer playing on consoles, and this was my alternative. I love it, I built the Gamecube Arkley Mansion, and if actual minecraft was put on XBLA/IG I'd deffinatly buy it.

I can't really get into that kind of mentality about anything. Plus I just hate building stuff. I mean I could build a giant castle, taking 8-10 hours to do so, but while some may look at and indeed say "I fucking made that!" all I'd be able to say say is "Yep, that's a castle alright," and then I'd silently mourn all those wasted hours I could have spent doing other, more productive things, like masturbating or watching porn or both.

I won't. I played it on pc, and knew exactly what I wanted to build. But the crafting process was so bloody long and ardous I gave up and went back to Bioshock.

I already got it on PC, I see absolutely no reason to bother with the probably inferior 360 one. Might try the X-Peria one though, if I bother getting the phone.

I already own it for my lab top.

I would say "because mods!", but after owning it for about a year I still have absolutely no idea how to download a minecraft mod.

I've been playing minecraft on an old laptop and it barely works, I love minecraft but I always have to have the render distance on short/tiny for it to be playable, so I'm definitely getting it on console. Or rather, I definitely WOULD if I had a 360. Damn console exclusives leavin' out ps3...

Probably not. I already bought it on PC back in alpha and I think that a lot of the aspects of server play, namely the MMO-esque element of a persistant world that other server players can log into at any time, would be lost on my Xbox.

That and Minecraft has yet to become a "game" to me in the traditional sense. It has no goals of its own, and to me it currently seems more like a very elaborate and fun toolbox with which to create your own gaming experience (e.g. roleplay/faction servers, adventure maps, building shit, etc) Building is fun, but the supporting elements (mining, combat) are not fun enough to justify continued playing without modification or an overarching goal, things that the Xbox and the current version of Minecraft, respectively, lack.

That said, off-topic, I cant wait for 1.8 to happen so I can get back to my RP server of choice on a fresh world.

OP says this in a way that implies that "console gamers" can't play it now. Keep in mind the game can probably run on any college kid's netbook.

I mostly play Xbox 360 and I already got Minecraft over two months ago. Most console gamers probably won't get it though IMO.
