I like console controls for almost everything. The only thing I can't do on console is play RTS, which is best suited for pc controls.

I've always played consoles, never experienced PC gaming except the Sims and Age of Empires. Generally speaking RTS's work a lot better with PC, but other than that I prefer console controls.

Im only recently getting into PC gaming, but a third person perspective game usually I feel better with a controller but can still use keyboard and mouse.

I prefer to play FPS'es with the K&M. exceptions being where console controls are used efficiently and naturally (like COD games) I can go either way.

I think the PC is better for FPSs. I can aim with extreme accuracy and precision when using my weird red joystick mouse thing, but on a console I can't hit anything without lock-on. I can't imagine a game like Oblivion on the console either. It would be impossible to use arrows. Don't forget strategy and simulation games. PCs are better for everything because even if you don't want to use the keyboard you can plug in a controller.

Edit" Sounded weird..

For me, the absolutely only thing that works better on console controls is Fighters. A few 2d Platformers are equal on consoles as to PC. Absolutely everything else is better on mouse and keyboard. Also, I have taken a sacred vow to never play a shooter on a console, because I would rather have a shoddy port to PC then an excellent game native to a console. I would rather press my keyboard keys with chopsticks then use a controller.

I play both, own both, love both. So I'm not really handicapped one way or another.

PC over anything.

Console controllers never quite fit my hands, so to speak - I never truly get used to them, they feel unintuitive and clumsy to me.

Movement I find to be much easier with the keyboard-mouse combination. No halfway-walks fully-pressed-runs with a plastic nub that is too sensitive in any case. The WASD controls give me more ease of movement and the surrounding keyboard a multitude of buttons right next to my fingers: no need go for R1-2 L1-2 buttons.

Mostly this is due to me having played mostly PC games during the last decade, but as I said every time I have tried to get used to a console controller, I just can't wrap my hands around the (to me) unintuitive and difficulty placed buttons. And restricted to under ten individual buttons? Horrible.

And I'll never get used to not turning the view of my character by turning my hand.

Console for life. I remember when it was Arcade VS. Console up until Consoles basically ate arcades, now they are doing the same thing with PCs. Name 10 PC exclusives in the last 3 years not counting bedroom programers.

I think a better question would be true exclusives and games that are pretty much unplayable on console due to how much better the PC version is I.E. all Valve games.

But anyway, to answer. WoW, Aion, Starcraft 2 (or soon to be..), Diablo 3 (also soon to be), every MMO ever made except for Final Fantasy, every single Valve game.

OT: PC all the way. I played console for a couple of years and then switched to PC.. I was having loads more fun.

I used to like console, but as of late I'm more and more inclined to enjoy a mouse and keyboard.

I grew up on the PC, I've adapted to more control schemes than I've had acquaintances, and I've never touched a console beyond playing with friends (Which has actually covered a surprising number of titles, across multiple genres, but very little of any single one). For me, it's PC all the way. I'm just tuned to it.

Console is the game plattform for the masses (altough WoW kinda changed that) and PC usally produced higher quality games (in the past). Console/PC games are often dumbed down, compare the old PC only Wolfenstein with the new PC/Console. I f***ing hate it when they do that. Basically you cant play a shooter that is developed for Console and PC if you want a challenge. Play the new Wolfenstein on PC and you will fall asleep on hardest since it is so terribly easy.

I will never ever play a shooter or RTS with a controller and since those are my favorite genres and i use the PC for more than playing im definately PC for live! And to the console devs, stop stealing PC genres and dumbing them down so you can play complex or accuracy based games with a controller.

PC. It's so much more accurate. It's like to kill zombie, you have to click on him. On the 360, to kill the zombie, you have to flail around hitting the right trigger to kill zombie.

RTS games and MMOs are, what I feel, the best usage of the keyboard and mouse.

For me, everything else feels better on console.
