I've done more traveling than many, and while the rest of the world is glorious, I wouldn't even conceive of leaving Canada to make another country my home. And for all the hate it tends to get from other parts of Canada, Calgary Alberta is a wonderful city to live in. Not the most exciting city truth be told, but as a place to 'live' it's unmatched. Clean air, mild winters, beautiful summers, with the Rocky Mountains an hours drive away and the Alberta Badlands only a little further there's a ton of natural diversity, and despite its reputation as 'Canadas Texas' it's also one of the most culturally diverse cities in Canada... third to be precise. I like that, I think diversity is the spice of life, and I love walking down streets and hearing multiple languages being spoken, or meeting people from different places and cultures.

As for Canada is general, I can't really explain it better than these:

If I absolutely *had* to move from Canada I'd probably head over to Sydney Australia, I loved that city while I was there (Even if the rest of Australia I found a bit disappointing!), but seeing as I doubt that'll ever happen it's not worth worrying about.

After I graduate from college I want to try living and working somewhere new that isn't in the United States. I figure easiest transition would be Canada, and I absolutely adore most the music that comes out of there. Besides that though I have nothing really to go on or any particular draw to the country.

So convince me, Canada! Why should I come live in your fine country? Or why not?

If you hate Canada, where else do you think would be a good place to live?
Same here or at least why montreal would be a good place to move.
