The Portal Gun, I've sat with friends for hours just discussing what we would do if we had one.
An honest politician that actually takes the long-term view for things. This possibly ties in closely with the repeatedly suggested "Peace".
An LHC that doesn't keep breaking. Damned helium leaks.
I also agree with virtual reality and the Portal Gun. Both would be awesome.
2. Invisibility cloaks are being worked on. The results so far are, I think, potentially quite promising.
3. I take personal offence at this one. Next you'll be saying that autism needs to be "cured". It doesn't. These characteristics make people what they are, and without them they're not the same person. Besides, everyone's on the autistic spectrum. It's called a spectrum for a reason.
4. That would be cool. Might be possible, depnding on precisely how you define "age" and the changing thereof.

1. Time travel is, I believe, actually permitted by the laws of physics, so the only difficulty with that is working out how to control it. In other words: Time travel yes, Time Machines... that's the question. This is addressed to everyone who's said Time Travel in this thread, not just Haydyn.Haydyn said:

Anything can be built with the future. Never tell someone that in can't be done. It can be done
1. In theory, time travel works. The only problem is going back in time is going to change something. Then when you go back, some believe you would fuse with yourself in that time era, and only have the memories of the original self. Until we have proof how travelling through time works, I don't see it ever being possible.Sorceror Nobody said:

3. Personal offence? Does not medication try to relieve people of having illnesses? I'm not saying anyone needs to be "cured". I'm saying a way we could balance the chemicals in one's brain to make their life a hell of a lot easier would be great. It makes me sad that people take offence to giving everyone an equal opportunity to be what society considers "normal". Maybe you don't know what's it's like to live with a mental illness, or with someone who does. I'd give my right eye for the chemical inbalances in the people I know to be fixed.
4. An easy way to explain it would be to revert one to whatever they were when they were the selected age, but with present day memory.
