Notice that if you swap the first words in both conjunctions whit eachother. It actually sounds quite healthy.Fritzvalt said:A gun that shoots heavily irradiated nutrinos over a long distance. Actually.... maybe I should patent that. Which name sounds better: Organ Disruptor or Cancer Gun?
1. Time travel is, I believe, actually permitted by the laws of physics, so the only difficulty with that is working out how to control it. In other words: Time travel yes, Time Machines... that's the question. This is addressed to everyone who's said Time Travel in this thread, not just Haydyn.Haydyn said:Time travel. Invisibility. Organ Gun and Cancer Disruptor. Mmmm...
Both are well within the realm of possib... nah, I'm just screwing with you, but it would be sweet if we could have those.NpPro93 said:The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (aka the Gravity Gun)

That is what everyone say's until someone asks how do you bend the light away from a cloaked person and still allow them to see?Sorceror Nobody said:2. Invisibility cloaks are being worked on. The results so far are, I think, potentially quite promising.

Not exactly technology, but still. We will never have it.
1. In theory, time travel works. The only problem is going back in time is going to change something. Then when you go back, some believe you would fuse with yourself in that time era, and only have the memories of the original self. Until we have proof how travelling through time works, I don't see it ever being possible.Sorceror Nobody said:An honest politician that actually takes the long-term view for things. An LHC that doesn't keep breaking. Damned helium leaks.
I also agree with virtual reality and the Portal Gun. Both would be awesome.

3. I take personal offence at this one. Next you'll be saying that autism needs to be "cured". It doesn't. These characteristics make people what they are, and without them they're not the same person. Besides, everyone's on the autistic spectrum. It's called a spectrum for a reason.
4. That would be cool. Might be possible, depnding on precisely how you define "age" and the changing thereof.
