Coolest Alien race in video games

Well I'm gonna agree with this person and say the Protoss, but they are tied with the Sangheili in Halo (Yeah, I'm nerd enough to know the alien name for the Elites).

The Seraphim in Supreme Commander. They're badass enough to take out both the humans and their cyborg offspring, while having cool energy weapons and awesome-looking vehicles.

They arn't Aliens (atleast what the OP means by Aliens; Spacefairing creatures from other planets). The Locust from Gears are from inside the planet. They didn't come here from another celestial body.

Gears of War takes place on a planet called Sera so technically even the humans are "aliens"


Also I like the Protoss, Krogan, and the Turians. and if you haven't seen the teaser trailer for Mass Effect 2 check it out, maybe we'll be able to play as an alien race.

The OP means Extra-Terrestrial. So, yes, to us, the people in Gears are "Extra-Terrestrial". However, speaking in relevance of the game which you put yourself in, the Locust are from the same planet you are, which means they are Terrestrial. They are not Aliens.

I'd say that it's a toss-up between Xenomorphs and Cybertonians (when they don't talk). The fact that they are both from licensed properties doesn't say a lot for the aliens in videogames as they mostly come across as Nazis or Zombies or Marines in rubber monster costumes and those that aren't are likely derivative of the Xenomorphs.

I guess I'm the only one who remembers Star Ocean three. I'm hereing the cliched Elites and warhammer races but how about the Gemitys (Racial name taken from the town they're in). The made the whole universe that earth is in. As a dang vidjeo game. Also the one in charge of the company that made OUR universe went bonkers and tryed to "delete" our galaxy.

Now thats a awesome alien. They could just flick the offswitch and it'll be like we never alive. Everything that was ever done by humans/anything else gone. All with the flick of a switch.
