Order of the Stick, Girls with Slingshots, and DEFINITELY Questionable Content. Dungeons and Denizens is decent, as can be Candi.

My most glowing recommendation has to be Questionable Content. That strip is the only one that routinely actually makes me laugh aloud, and even the drama sections are good.

A defunct (discontinued) but still good strip that I've always liked is also Elf Only Inn.

One of my favorites is Gone with the Blastwave

I'd highly recommend it...
Thanks for that! Was pretty funny.

Check out SMBC, updated daily [http://www.smbc-comics.com/]. Also, the comic, Critical Miss, on the Escapist is surprisingly good. I didn't give it a chance at first but I love it now.

I've gotta say that the appeal of VGcats is lost on me. I have yet to ever read a strip that even made me think "ha", let alone actually giggle.

That being said, I like Order of the Stick, DM of the Rings, and Darths and Droids.

AXECOP!
its a comic written by a 5 year old and drawn by his much older brother.

www.axecop.com

weregeek
its about a bunch of nerds, and they're daily lives and the games they play, the comic has a knack for hitting on peoples real life experiences.

www.weregeek.com

Dr.McNinja as everyone else has been saying

and Gunnerkrigg court

its not a comedy, but more of a drama thats set in a harry potter-esque world, its a really good read though.

Hello Escapists. I'd like to ask if anyone knows a good webcomic I could start reading to get my mind off things. I'd also be glad to discuss it in this thread. Thanks everyone!
My reccomendations are Looking For Group http://www.lfgcomic.com and Sinfest http://www.sinfest.net

Sinfest is pretty good for a quick read everyday (since he puts a new one up everyday and on Sundays its in color) and the the creator quite often has little story arcs that happen eg the main one now is a devilgirl falling in love with a bookish boy. It does a lot of social commentary on there too sometimes its subtle other times its just very obvious.

Looking For Group is just funny, I seriously recommend reading this from the beginning, it gets funnier and funnier as it goes. You'll end up looking for Richards next line just because its usually him being funny. I think its updated once a week but I'm not 100% sure.
