yes.

I mean, I havent yet. I've come close to a few times, but havent.

But I most surely could. its not a hard thing to get over really.
And how would you know? You haven't killed anyone but you know you could get over it.

Generally killing someone tends to affect a person. Why you would be the exception, I don't know.
I editted my post, so you could check again and see my reasoning, but I know I could cause there's been very little outside someone holding me back or the threat of jail as somethign I dont want to waste my time in thats kept me.

But if you put me in the life or death situation, where its fight or die, I would most certainly. Im not going to go cold bloodedly murder someone, but if I'm defending myself, or in a fight, its no big deal.
Knowing you could kill doesn't explain how you know you could supposedly get over it.

give me an adequate reson, and yeah, sure, i'd do it.
i do not believe that life, considered by itself, is the highest value evar.
a person can become a problem. and if other means of solving the problem fail, you have to grab the problem by its roots, and uproot it. permanently.

1) Depends on the situation
2) Unless they've actually done it before, no one can really be sure of their answer
3) Yes

With a gun, shouldn't be a problem. Between police and soldiers and such, lots of people do it and live just fine. Maybe some nightmares now and then, but that's hardly going to keep someone from living.

With a knife or strangling or something, I'd imagine it would take more of a toll on most people. I think I'd be fine with it though, so long as it was still a stranger and not like a kid or something. Family member would mess with me though, it would be difficult even if they were a zombie or something.

Can I be honest and say I have absolutely no idea? I mean, I can speculate but the reality is that because I've never been in a situation that required it, nor have I ever really been confronted with any real experience of killing a person then I honestly do not have any idea.

However, I worked in a slaughterhouse for a while. If killing pigs, sheep and cattle is anything like killing a person then I'd probably have no problem with it (since I had no problem with killing the animals, it's just a job after all), but on the other hand, I'd have to have a damn good reason before I'm pushed to that level.

And I mean a DAMN good reason.

Although, what that reason is, I cannot say, for reasons I already covered.

Cause i see them as worthless when I kill them. I'm not going to look back and say hunh, I really shoundt have done that, they probably meant something to somoene. I'm going to keep seeing them as worthless. When you do that, there's not a lot of remorse to change you. Its just like weaseling a dog, its just like putting a pet down, its just like slaughtering an animal for food. they are beneath you, and you are above them, if you kill them, you dont look back and reevalutate your life.

someone's already said it, but life is indeed worthless int he grandscheme of the world and universe. The sooner you see you're worthless and are ready to accept death without the fear and anxiety, the sooner you see other people as even more worthless and give two fucks if they end or not, whether you have done it or someone else did.

Again, I'm not going out to murder people, but you give me a self defense situation where death is the only way to end the situation, I will, and wont care, because i was driven to it and it needed to be done. its just like a job that you dont enjoy, but do it so you can pay bills.

It depends for me. If it's like a murderer that killed my brother then yes, I'd kill him. Slow and painfully.

It would really all depend on the situation for me. Is he pure evil? Does he have a hostage and I have a clear shot? Or is he just a innocent person? I could never bring myself to harming someone who did nothing deserving of it. However in a situation where a innocent individual or I would be in danger, I believe I could pull myself together and do it, this isn't to say I would not feel bad about it. Even if the person was truly bad, I still killed him, I ended a life. That should always come with a scar in your memory, something to haunt you and hopefully make you think more of life.

Life is beautiful, not worthless. I don't believe that you wouldn't feel guilty. You'd be lying to yourself if you did.

if I had the justification, need, and method. I could not beat anyone to death, I'd really need a gun, something easy and detached. As for method, I'd need to be saving people who are either close to me (saying that, if someone threatened my fiance, hell yes I'd beat the living hell out of him, but probably not kill him), or if there is a lot of them (needs of the many over needs of the few I guess)

May I ask, you say you've done it before, what were you doing? :)

If you feel so, then thats fine. I see it as worthless if I'm going into some kind of conflict, but thats just me.

towards the second though, I can say I wouldnt. Would not care whatsoever if I'm put in the situation. you can tell me all about what you THINK, but in the end, ultimately, i know me much better then you do, so I think I would know when I say I could and wouldnt care.

EDIT:

and thats all I'm going to say on it, cause theres point in arguing the point when its such a personal one that only the person answering for themselves could answer.

There's two things to consider, could I be able to kill a person? and would I be willing to kill a person? As to number one, I'm not sure. Number two, only as a last resort, to protect myself or others from harm.

There was a time where I could.
I've grown more... "Healthy", though.
I'm not sure any more. If I had to in order to survive, I know I could, because I would have the means to kill the guilt. If I did it out of rage, I might also, but I don't know.

Even if their was a strong reason why i had to kill someone, I'd probably still find it hard to do. Just something about ceasing a life, seems even harder when someone believes in no after life...
