Cowboy Bebop Live Action Movie - No Way

[Mostly Harmless]

Cow Boy Bebop despite having what might possibly be the worst name for an anime series, remains to be my second favorite anime series second only to Ghost in a Shell.

We all know that 20th century fox will probably fail at it but I would like to see this succeed, there is great potential here for something great but I just don't see it happening.

I got 10 bucks on Spike sleeping with Faye and completely effing up the story in general.

By the way, does anyone know what happened to the guy who played Bill? It'd be awesome if he played Vicious.

Meh, there are worse castings that Keanu Reeves, as I have said before.

The movie shouldn't exist though... but it will likely be made, and it will likely not be good.

However I DO NOT think that Keanu would be the worst thing about this movie when so much more could be screwed up.

I'd be willing to bet good money that they won't even get Yokko Kanno to score the damned thing and without her, how can you POSSIBLY make a Cowboy Bebop movie.

Oh, I would just have to kill something if that happened.

I mean, to fuck with all else, at least with Kanno scoring it'll make a good sound track

I've heard about it, but I'm not sure if Keanu would be right for the part. I mean, he's probably a nice guy and all... but he doesn't really look or sound anything like Spike.

I mean, have you heard Spike? His voice is like liquid velvet and cigarette smoke combined with awesome. Keanu just can't sound like that.

For Ed how about Summer Glau she played River on Serenity she could do Ed, but she is a bit old. Then again I cant think of anyone else to do it.

Oh heavens no. I hope this sick, twisted idea dies before anyone even begins thinking about filming it.

If they really want to do something with CB, they should make another series... but a live-action movie can't help but be a dismal failure. Movies just aren't suited to certain settings.

This would be complete fail. There is not a single man on earth who can do Spike justice. Mind you Ron perlman would be perfect for Jet.

I heard about this a few months ago. I has a mini-tantrum thinking about what Keanu would do to Spike. That said, maybe David Hayter would make a good Spike?
