If you listen to coast to coast am, you'll hear alot of crazy stuff.

My fav theory (that I made):

The Cold War actually happened between the Polar Bears and the Penguins. The penguins won because they now rule Antarctica and when the ice melts, they'll live because there is ground under antarctic ice (in most places) unlike the arctic where the polar bears live so they'll drown.

I'm not sure exactly. I would like to go back and check, but I have no idea where the site I found that one is.

Aside from the DC comics part though, I'm fairly certain that your answer would be more or less right.

You know what... I decided I don't care enough about this to continue. There are a lot of red flags around 9/11 and I am still annoyed that they don't get examined at closely by anyone in an open forum more reliable then the Internet, so I won't concede the point to you on that ground. The actions, or mostly lack of them, by the US government has led me to feel I can't trust them... not surprising as I a healthy distrust of governmental officials is... well healthy. 9/11 was turned into politics instead of the criminal investigation that should of taken place, and politics is more geared towards burying the truth then revealing it.

I will concede to you still as you have written out well thought out replies, showing a greater degree of skill then normally encountered on the web of folly. I just don't have the times or the motivation to keep up the argument. Hence, point to you. I might of had fun mentally fencing to you. Even accept the possibility of you being able to change my mind on this matter eventually.

But that isn't to be at this place.

Keep up the good work though, maybe one day once I have sorted out all the RL stuff I have to deal with I could sit down and go one on one with you. Right now, I'm lucky if I have enough ability to post on the fly. Who would of thought that immigrating to another country would take so much out of a person. Your arguments deserve far more then I am capable of giving them at the moment.

As regards the 9/11 debate:

I don't think a plausible argument can be made that the government manufactured the attacks, or that they were in any way faked. I do think that there are red flags that haven't been investigated. There's a good chance that a highly placed INDIVIDUAL had foreknowledge and ignored it, seeing the possibilities. Yeah, Cheney. Bush is as ignorant of this as he is about everything else higher than middle school. And I think flight 93 above Pennsylvania was shot down. But the demo charges, melting steel, and cruise missiles are all smokescreen.

And if someone really wants to insist that the US government set this up, why wouldn't Cheney just tell Osama to do it? The CIA had met him back in the 80's. Everyone is concentrating on the American side, what about the arab side? A Pakistani ISI agent was putting government money into Atta's account, and the man was executed without trial a week after the attacks. The Pakistanis insisted on helicopter airlifts to evacuate "assets" out of Afghani border towns, before US soldiers could sweep there. Want to know where Osama is? Ask Pakistan.

That the entire world is controlled by a small secret group called the New World Order. Apparently this New World Order has staged every war since 1776.

I also heard one claiming that Obama had Michael Jackson killed because Jackson didn't go to Obama's inauguration. I could not make that up if I tried.
