My personal favorite is the one about Nazis not having been defeated but actually just went and hid in a secret base in the center of the earth, I don't for the life of me recall how I got there, but I was looking up conspiracy theories for kicks and found this one on some white nationalist website, the best part was, after the guy posted it, some other dude, as in some other person who believed that the white race was superior above all and that the Holocaust was made up by Jews to garner sympathy, called out the conspiracy theorist and made fun of him. Funniest, and most ironic crap ever.

I've looked at ALL the videos photos and witness acounts, and I've asked friends who are experts at demoloting buildings and EOD experts. Give me a reason WHY we would do this to our selves.

What a lot of people have to remember about area 51 is, at the time and probably still today, was a military testing ground. This means the military brought lots of new and unseen toys to this stretch of 'arse end of anywhere' strip of desert. It was the perfect place to fly things or shoot things and experiment with things until that whole crashed 'weather balloon.' As for area 51 and aliens. I doubt aliens was the cover story as that would of created just as much of a stir. Very likely it was a spy device, as you have said, but the make was unknown to the team at 51 when they retrieved it. Someone probably joked about it being alien, or maybe even thought it was from initial observations, and then had to let his big mouth get him in trouble by speaking those very words out loud in the earshot of civilians. Cause once the word got out the conspiracies never stoped....
Weather balloon it wasn't, but the chance of it being an alien device is even slimmer.
I wonder though if that spread of rumour was the initial spark that led to the CIA 'psi-op' model that is now employed. Like you I believe a lot of misinformation is released by the government in hopes to cloud issues they don't want examined closely. After all so many red flags have shown up throughout a great deal of covert actions but anyone looking at them is labeled 'a conspiracy nut' for even daring to raise the possability that the US government might not have our best interests in heart at the best of times and the worse... willing to kill it's own people to push a political agenda.
Northwood comes to mind. Another reason I love JFK, whom was willing to call the joint chefs of staff murders and refuse to implement their 'blame cuba' plan.
I believe 911 was a inside job... too many questions are raised that can't be explained. As for a reason: Look up Northwood... the US government has already put forth plans to kill US citizens for a political excuse. I could point out PNAC as the motivation then laugh so loudly. The people who wrote that document where so inept that, even when they got the excuse (not saying they conspired for the excuse, but they did get it) they needed, they fucked up the execution!

This idea has been discredited. One: Norad is a cold-war relic whose entire field of view is directed outside the US. Even if they weren't undergoing war games at the time they still wouldn't have done anything because they are on the lookout for planes outside the US coming in, not ones that are already in the states.
Two: War Games are pretty much running 24/7. It also wasn't the exact hour.
Three: Even if said war games weren't going on, there was so much red tape that no air interception could be possible. In order for Norad to know something was up, someone from the FFA had to call his supervisor, who had to call his supervisor, who had to call someone in Norad to tell his boss something was up. Combine that with the fact that with the flight transponders turned off the FFA didn't even know that the flights were hijacked to start with, and afterwoods had no idea where the planes where (They thought Flight 93 was still in the air almost an hour after it crashed).
Three: Even if Norad had been able to know that the planes were hijacked minutes after it happened, they still wouldn't be able to get planes in the air and catch up to the hijacked planes before they crashed. In the decade before 9/11 there was only one instance of fighters being dispatched to catch up to a plane (belonging to some golfer or something, I forget who he was exactly). It took them Over an hour and a half to catch up to it. And after being hijacked, none of the planes was in the air for over an hour. By the time Norad scrambled planes (and keep in mind, a lot of planes aren't fueled and ready to launch at a moments notice; it takes time to get both the planes and the pilots ready) it was too late. Even going supersonic they couldn't reach the third plane in time to stop it from hitting the Pentagon.
You're looking too much into things. There are plenty of examples of sus activitives taking place at the same time of these kinds of events. It's just a concidence in the end.
Yeah, Northwood....a plan that the US Government rejected because a few students would die. And I should point out that the government themselves declassified Northwood. So the evidence you're using to say that they could do 9/11....was given to you by them. If anything that's proof they weren't involved; why would they declassify material that would implicate themselves?
And the fact that you're alive, with this knowledge, is proof enough they had nothing to do with it. If they're willing to let 3000 people die then surely it'd be no small problem to kill people like you and make it look like an ancident.
