Not sure what it's like for you, but where I live (Canada), ketchup is very different tasting compared to tomato sauce.

I wouldn't want to dip fries in tomato sauce; fortunately, ketchup isn't the same.

If you think that ketchup and tomato sauce taste the same, I'd question the condition of your taste buds, my good sir.

Here in Australia, what you call ketchup, we call tomato sauce.

You have no Brown Sauce, presumably no barbecue sauce, and almost definitely no HP sauce.

The problem is, sauce can be a condiment or a part of a dish. I make tomato sauce to go on my pasta out of tomatoes, wine, onions and herbs. I also use tomato sauce from a bottle in the same way you use ketchup.

Mustard and mint jelly are both condiments and are not runny. (Runny mustard isn't mustard. Mustard comes in jars, not bottles.)

Brow sauce = Gravy (Only cuz I'm not Italian)
BBQ sauce is still BBQ sauce

I do not know if we have an HP equivalent... oh wait... that's sexist!!!!!

We have A1 (steak) sauce.

2. Gravy is nothing like Brown Sauce. Brown Sauce is more like BBQ Sauce than Gravy.

A1 is probably closer to brown sauce than gravy. Assuming it's the same as the steak sauce we have here.

what exactly is a cheese curd? cause i always wanted to try poutine but i never had the chance and was hoping to make some and then promptly trow it out because it may be disgusting.

taste like mozzarella/provolone cheese but it has a more rubbery surface than regular mozzarella. As an American it tasted good but anything larger than a regular size is sickening

I looked up HP sauce.... do you know what it stands for? House of Parliment? OR 'Husband Pleasing Steak Sauce!' (That was one of their ad campaigns, some years ago supposedly.)

No I've never heard of ketchup fries (weird considering I'm from Pittsburgh where Heinz ketchup is made) also milk in a bag? But wouldn't it be susceptible to bursting? Bags aren't the best things to keep a liquid in.

I have seen milk bags in australia, although not on sale in a supermarket, more for milk dispensers used at a buffet breakfast place.
Also i'm pretty sure smiths brought out a range a few years ago that had hinz big read tomato sauce flavoured chips.
Never heard of poutine until I went to canada earlier this year
