"Addicting" The word is Addictive you undereducated Plebs,
Times have changed, and addicting is a word too, your the first one to complain.
It may well be a word BUT! it does not mean something that is easy to get addicted to.

If it was a word it would be a transitive verb or to use it in a sentence:

I am currently in the process of addicting my mate to heroin, It's not all that hard since it's highly addictive and soon he'll be well and truely addicted.

Do you see what I am getting at if it is a word you are using it wrong.

your the first one to complain.
I can assure you I'm not, also

That bugs the hell out of me too.
Well i come from another country, English is my third language, i was never good with grammar, but as long as i can communicate, why care anyway.
If it isn't your first language then I don't mind so much,
but if it's your first there's really no excuse.

As for why we should care:

1. Many times a small mistake can completely change the meaning of a sentence ie,
"I helped my uncle Jack, off his horse."
and
"I helped my uncle jack off his horse."
One is about helping a relative,
the other is about helping a relative in an act of beastiality.
also
You're canaidian
Your canaidian
one is descriptive
one is slavery
Small spelling and grammar mistakes I can let go,
however things like this bug me because I see it more and more from people that should know better.

Any word that is capitalized and has a lowercase "i" that precedes it. I don't get to make up fucking grammar and spelling rules, and neither do you, Steve Jobs.

"Fucking"
That right there makes me want to slap someone across the face with the power of 30 hurricanes.
Actually most kinds of swearing ticks me off somewhat. If you are not a child, don't talk like a poorly raised one..
But especially fucking...
I think the problem here is your misconception that certain words are for children. You strike me as a person who would look at the Wii and say it only has kiddie games. There is nothing wrong with swearing and in fact it's not really even "swearing", it's just some bullshit someone somewhere made up. Fuck is just as viable a word as any other word, and I'll be damned if I'm going to stop using it just because some random authority decided that it's a "bad" word.
I actually rather enjoy playing the wii, though not as much as my Ps3, but that's another matter.
But let me elaborate a little. Swearing is not pleasant to listen to. And if you cannot get your point across without it, I will simply stop caring about what you have to say. And as a little something extra, excessive use of swearing and the word 'fucking' makes you sound way dumber than you hopefully are.

Well, there is somewhat of difference between a film and a conversation with someone out in the real world. That and the image is just pure awesome.

I have a running joke with my management professor. I say, when she asks me a question in class, "Remember, all answers wrong or your money back, since everything I say you friggin' correct me." (and yet if the semester ended today I'd get an A! Fuck, that class is absurd.)
Exactly and it's they are so depressing. Ever single management lecture I have I feel like a tiny worm being paid to massage some great monster earned millions every 5 minutes

Also fuck bureaucracy

"Nevermind"

Now, before you stare at me weirdly, consider the the reasoning behind it first. This is something that happened in my house alot. They bring up something and when you - or in this case, I - respond in a manner that doesn't suit them, they go "Nevermind". Or something similarly annoying. Well, I don't DO nevermind. You got my attention, so you SPEAK. So, I put the hate on anyone trying to shut me out of something once they've already decided to bother me about it. That's the reason.
I agree.
I usually hear it alot when people say something and I'm not quite sure what they meant. It annoys me because it means they've given up on me and refused me simple information.

I don't know, I don't like it, but I do know that other parts of the world use it like the word fuck. I was watching this Australian comedian's stand up. He was using **** every five minutes almost. I couldn't hear any else but that word like someone was poking my ear.

Here is a piece of him:

I hope that video wasn't an exmaple of him saying "****", because he isn't.
He's saying "cum"

My least favorite word: Moist. UGH.

As cracked.com said:

Imagine a sentence that uses the word moist. Now imagine your mother or grandmother said it.
Whats so bad about this...

That sponge cake is truly amazing dear, You have the perfect balance between the crumblier outer layer and the moist inner sponge and it is absolutely divine!

Okay back to the point of this thread:

Racial slurs, '****', Epic, Gangster speak, Emo, 'kiddie speak', 'Douche-Nozzel' (the fave insult of one of my immature friends)

"Moist, ooze, drip, overflow," let me stop before I vomit!

Also, "fuck" if it's over-used, and by "over-used," I mean every time my brother uses it while playing online. It used to be funny because he reminded me of that German kid, but now it's just sad that he takes the game THAT seriously.

My two least favorite words are, in no particular order, "panties" and "moist". Bleecchh.

"Panties" is so juvenile-sounding and degrading, it's not even feminine, it's like something a pedophile would say. Yuck!

"Moist" is just a gross word to say, it feels slimy coming out of someone's mouth. Moist. Like a squishy, dirty diaper or the ground surrounding a slimed-over bog. Aaagh!
So the real problem would be if someones panties were moist?
I suppose it would all come down to the cause of the moistness.
The personage involved would also probably be important.

Now though, while I was originally just making a jape at your comment and the possible relation of the two words, since we have had a bit of back and forth I have decided I am genuinely curious.

What would be an appropriate word to use for women's underclothes? 'Undergarments' sounds ancient if 'panties' is juvenile. I always thought of that as simply the correct term for them, men(generally) wear boxers, briefs or an uncomfortable combination of the two while women(generally) wear panties that are further designated by their cut. I realize that some cuts have developed their own name with popularity, thong or bikini for example, but I can't think of a different term to use for a standard pair without getting less descriptive. 'Underwear' could mean a bra, boxers, or even long johns after all.

I do hope you take a moment to answer this since I'm not being any more sarcastic than usual, I am genuinely curious and ready to improve my lexicon for ladies underclothes.

there aren't really any particular words. but often when Indian or Bengali people speak English with an accent, they try to hide it by making their words overtly melodramatic in a weird way that drives me Insane! it's just so freakin' pretentious! (P.S. I'm Bengali, so this isn't Racism; and i have almost no accent, so this isn't Hypocrisy!)

Actually, both are bad grammar.

If you wanted to be perfectly clear on your intentions, you should write:
"I helped my uncle Jack to get off of his horse."

Both of your sentences could be misconstrued in various different ways, such as helping your uncle to kill his horse, or as you said, perform... Questionable actions with the animal.
And the comma you placed in the first example should not be there regardless of what the sentence meant. Vital words are missing in any case.

Just saying. ;)
