I think its to work out how much damage the 'traveler' ability does. Not entirely sure though, never actually seen it used, only heard about it in a walkthrough.

LoL : The Community is horrible and most of the female champions are really boring (in appearance/design, not gameplay).

Disgaea 3/4 : Item worlding/grindin in general can get VERY boring.

Hisoutensoku : Mokou was scrapped from the expansion.

Pokemon series in general has serious issues :-
1.)sh*t graphics (and I mean really bad)
2.)A tedious level grind system
3.)Combat gets repetitive after a while
4.)None of the new Pokemon are as cool as the old ones
5.)You can predict the plot; Collect badges whilst defeating an fighting an evil gang, catch legendary pokemon, defeat league. Then not bother with the pokedex
6.)No interesting Characters
7.)You cannot obtain wifi event pokemon (even though I have wifi)
I could go on. The only reason I like it is because Pkmn Red was my first ever video game, and I am a collector maniac.

Final Fantasy VIII . . . Well I gotta start somewhere.

1) What I've decided is an attempt to use limited third-person to create intimacy with Squall frankly should've been more obvious, if it was the real intent. Having every other character besides our lead be under-developed was an undue swerve from the persective under which we view all JRPGs (third-person omniscience), but when considered in the context of limited third-person is actually kind of brilliant. Just warn me a bit next time, kay?

2) I like "Don't Be Afraid" quite a bit, but I think "Man With The Machine Gun" with a title change should've been the main battle music for the entire game.

3) The intimate scenes of character development for Squall, while I believe were well placed, should've been made to happen earlier if empathy or sympathy was what you were going for as opposed to just trying to relate to a very specific niche of fans like me: angsty jerk.

4) It's a real shame you had to use Deus Ex Machina to get that awesome romantic scene, especially since an even better one happens about 3-4 hours earlier with no such silliness.

I really could go on. But I still love you, and all your flaws.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing does, in fact, have a few compatability issues.
Nonsense
It works perfectly fine for me. Its my game of the decade after all!

Anyways

Ultima Underworld
The stats and skills can be rather redundant sometimes and the headless-on-the-second-level bullshit had me on the edge.

Master of Orion II
-Standard races are not balanced in the least. Ever see the Gnolam become a massive power in a game? Probably not.
-The AI has several major shortcomings, both strategically and tactically. Ever look at enemy ship designs? With technological and industrial parity, a human player will win every time based on ship design alone.
-Diplomacy is pretty hit-or-miss. On the higher difficulties it might actually be easier to go repulsive so war doesn't come knocking on your doorstep because you didn't feel like emptying out the entirety of your coffers to some random jagoff.

Fire Emblem Path of Radiance had absolutely terrible voice acting. One chapter was stupidly long and difficult. The whole game can be beaten using a single character. Abusing bonus experience can break the game.

Mushihimesama Futari - Well, if you don't like shmups, it's not going to convert you.

Sega Rally Revo - soundtrack is terrible, locations could do with more variety.

We'll do this by console-gen. (Note: Not every game listed is my absolute favorite of the generation.)

NES - Super Mario Bros. uses the same gag (your Princess is in another castle) 7 times! WTF!?
SNES - Chrono Trigger has one of the stupidest looking final bosses ever.
N64 - Ocarina of Time has the water temple. Nuff' said.
Xbox- Morrowind has incredibly shitty combat.
360 - Mass Effect 1 has incredibly shitty combat.

Guess I can overlook shitty combat :p

Final fantasy 6 . It's my favorite game , things that annoy me are .... Ummm....uhhh ... I got nothing that game is perfect . I guess if i WANTED to be nitpicky it COULD use some updated graphics? Nah it's perfect how it is . BUT What the hell is the step counter for ? I mean really!
Actually, the graphics are top-notch for SNES, and still look great when played on the correct resolution. But still . . .

Hey! A good time and place to bust out my heterodox hatred of that game!:

1) That soundtrack is mediocre compared to what Uematsu would do with the next three games. I remember doing an excersize where, to create space, I deleted every song from that soundtrack I didn't think was good. I ended up with about a third of the soundtrack. That's easy to tdo when your main battle theme and final dungeon music pieces are awful. Keep in mind, good, not ones I didn't like. If I deleted everything I didn't like, I'd probably have less than a quarter. A similar excersize with the next three soundtracks resulted in the deletion of about 10 tracks, and that was actually really difficult to do. I actually deleted less of a percentage for FFV. I don't know why people think that one is mediocre. Tracks like "A Presentiment" certainly make it his most under-rated work.

2) The characters have backstories and conflicts in game, but no real personalities. Key characteristics, like Edgar's playboyism, will often just dissapear.

3) The Opera song is beautiful, no complaints there except synthesized voice. The Opera scene makes no sense and would be one of the worst BigLippedAlligatorMoments in all of gaming if it did not have the most pointlessly subtle foreshadowing ever. Keep in mind, the event it foreshadows can actually be prevented!

4) No FF has ever been balanced, and I don't really want them to be (my favorite, FFVIII is possibly even more broken), but Final Fantasy VI is without question the Marvel Vs Capcom 2 of the series in terms of not only the amount of glitches that can turn the game unplayable, but even more so for eliminating even the possibility of having to play the game intelligtently. Vanish-Doom FTW forever, especially since there are practically no reasons (besides the upcoming one) to play, say, the GBA version (which fixed many of the glitches) instead of the SNES one.

5) The translation is terrible. I'm sick of hearing how good a translation that gleefully takes the opportunity to trivialize suicide is. It really is insulting to anyone who has ever self-mutilated or attempted suicide. (It doesn't help that, unlike later angsters, Celes' entire personality is literally defined by her angst. It's all we can conclude that she even has.)

I really could go on, but that's the bulk of it.

. . . You're welcome?

The Legacy of Kain series are getting rebooted instead of finished. Also, the games are full length movies plus some gameplay. The combat is repetitive. Blood Omen 2 does not exist.
Lolwut? I've heard news of rumors of a new game, but nothing like that! Also yeah, BO2 is an abomination.

It wasn't great but I kind of liked it... though the music for his 2nd form was much, much better.

I'm not that good at picking "favourite of all time" of anything. So I'll just pick a recent game and an oldie that I really love.

Bastion. It can get a bit cluttered and confusing at times with the crazy random scenery. And it's too short.

Age of Mythology. The cutscenes in the campaign would have been better off as voices over still images, rather than zooming in to the polygon level on the actual character models. And the voice acting could certainly be improved.

Deus Ex - some of the worst voice acting in the history of the universe. Seriously bad.

The gun play is somewhat terrible these days as well - is a good thing not shooting shit is a viable and much more fun option.

Without mods it looks terrible as well.

But my god it's still a brilliant game.

Skyrim still can't pull off epic storyline conclusions, and its combat still feels slow and lacking control compared to Dark Messiah (that game has seriously made me come back half a dozen times just for its combat). The Elder Scrolls series has always been like that.

Mass Effect 2's combat just felt like an arduous padding between the dialogue scenes.

League of Legends has a genuinely terrible community. Hard to understand why anyone would play it with random strangers.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has a genuinely uneventful and unexciting course of events. You could summarize in it a paragraph or two without missing anything important and count the important locations on one hand.

The STALKER series has some seriously flat controls.

Thief: Deadly Shadows has some seriously grating voice acting. Did they forget the pop filters on the microphones?

The Left 4 Dead series was really quick to lose any replay value. Play through the campaigns a couple of times, feel done with the game--unless Versus is something for you. Playing the campaigns again is made even more uninteresting by the number of people who just speed-run through it like a shooting gallery on legs.

Alpha Protocol tries to parade tactical stealth as a viable approach. It really isn't. It's more like it learned about stealthing from MMORPGs.

Gothic 3 runs like a rusty arse rubbing against gritty sand paper.
