I can't really decide between Age of Empires II or Battlefield 3, but I'll use Battlefield 3.

It was rushed out ahead of schedule so it was riddled with bugs and balance issues from the start, the hit detection is just depressing at times, the singleplayer campaign is the worst I've ever played...*Deep breath*...The co-op campaign was too short, had no vehicle sections apart from one in a helicopter, a lot of the maps in multiplayer are too cramped for 64 players, which is the mainstay of Battlefield, there's no Commander mode, some maps are really unbalanced in terms of advantage for one team...

Etc.

Deus Ex - some of the worst voice acting in the history of the universe. Seriously bad.

The gun play is somewhat terrible these days as well - is a good thing not shooting shit is a viable and much more fun option.

Without mods it looks terrible as well.

But my god it's still a brilliant game.
Fuck that, I'm just playing the first one now and run-and-gun doesn't feel viable at all! Like Warren Specter hates me for even trying.

Please note I haven't played Skyrim yet
TES IV: Oblivion.

The A.I. is buggy as fuck, whenever you have a support NPC they will almost always get in your way, and there will probably be at least on instance where one of them runs right in front of you as you release an arrow, and then you're a murderer and you must pay 1000 gold, and travel to nine different, unmarked Wayshrines to get forgiveness (This is especially egregious while traversing the planes of oblivion with several NPCs'.)

The diversity of weapons is poor when compared to the previous Elder Scrolls game Morrowind (Seriously what the fuck happened to the spears, and halberds, and crossbows, and throwing weapons? They were some of my favorite weapons in Morrowind you assholes.) As are the some other items, such as items for light (What I want to hold a candelabra while fighting the hordes with a sabre.)

Getting through a dungeon, or a ruin can be a little too easy. Even the planes of Oblivion gave me no trouble because I played as a Khajiit with a high sneak level, so I just sneaked through everything with a bow and arrow insta-killing almost everything, and I almost never got detected, and even when I did I still had virtually no problem taking on the "hordes".

Enchanting is disappointing. Why the hell can't I enchant Chameleon you pricks!?

Conversation pie. Yeeeeeaaaaaah I just bribed everyone.

Traveling can be a *****. "stay on the rods they're safe" says the guards "Bullshit" says I. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if some enemys' didn't come from out of nowhere, but at least the game awards you for exploration instead of shooting you in the knee because you dared to stray off the predetermined path it set before you.

Overall it's a good game, and I always find myself getting immersed in it, and the map is HUGE, but it can get a little samey at times, but the fact that I can play it for 150 hours and still have fun speaks volumes. It's fun, there's tons to do even after the main quest, it gives you a ton of freedom, and all the environments feel organic. Also it is nice to have a game that at any time allows you to say fuck this and run for the hills.

Starcraft, the original (Including BroodWar): The races seem balanced no doubt. But very often the computer's algorithms for sprite movement will often lock up. In addition, the Battle.Net component of Starcraft has diverged to hacked maps with loads of resources to make a massive swarm of one unit to take out one guy.

Half Life 2: People often compliment the plot, but really the plot is only very active at the beginning and at the end. In addition the weapons load out is very basic, and it doesn't seem all too unique from anything else other than the Gravity Gun.

In Chrono Trigger, I hated the drinking contest. I also got frustrated at trying to spell "LARA" on my DS.

Super Mario Bros. 3 had a couple of really poorly designed levels. The worst one IMO was world 7 castle #1.

I personally think it would be more worthwile to compliment a game rather than criticize it.

Although I honestly forgot if there was a thread once that said 'compliment your least favourite game'.

Lolwut? I've heard news of rumors of a new game, but nothing like that! Also yeah, BO2 is an abomination.
Well, there is this [http://uk.games.ign.com/articles/122/1221161p1.html] and I think CD are going to say more on E3 or something.

Battlefield 3: The average PC player of late has dropped in "team IQ" by around 30-50 points. Its all lone wolf snipers, or, a squad of nothing but snipers. Or failing that, its an assault guy with no repair ability taking a single-seat anti-air vehicle and driving right into the maw of the enemy to get insta-pwnt. Or the support guy in who's face your shouting "NEED AMMO!" while his glassy eyes completely ignoring you.

Or, if you have an actual good team, its the 5-10 second hardware lockups and hitches I get when I run the game for longer than 30 minutes.

In summary, this game is so much fun, but is plagued by so many problems. Please fix your sh!t, DICE, I know its probably EA's fault but damn. And lets not get me started on the indoor "COD" maps we're about to get. I suppose at least that might thin the herd of griefers, tank-thieves, and COD-babies in conquest matches. One can hope.

Halo CE - The first half of the came was copy and pasted as the second half of the game (Just with Flood)

Battlefield 3 - Most of the MP maps SUCK due to only 24 players being in a game (Console), and the campaign...

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood/Revelations - Assassins Creed 2 + Weapons

Skyrim - The main quest is really un-epic, and most named NPCs are essential.

Pokemon series in general has serious issues :-
1.)sh*t graphics (and I mean really bad)
2.)A tedious level grind system
3.)Combat gets repetitive after a while
4.)None of the new Pokemon are as cool as the old ones
5.)You can predict the plot; Collect badges whilst defeating an fighting an evil gang, catch legendary pokemon, defeat league. Then not bother with the pokedex
6.)No interesting Characters
7.)You cannot obtain wifi event pokemon (even though I have wifi)
I could go on. The only reason I like it is because Pkmn Red was my first ever video game, and I am a collector maniac.
The last one is the big one to me: If you wanna catch-em-all you need all of the games and a cheat device.

---

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. It only allows 2-player co-op. That's all I've got honestly.

Final Fantasy VIII. All-human cast and, a forced love story. Also Quistis would have made a better love interest I think...a more interesting one any way.

Ocarina of Time. The Ice Dungeon was incomplete.

Knights of the Old Republic 2...it was incomplete.

Well that game does age very, very poorly in all departments (I still enjoy it though.) Here's hoping the reboot don't suck!

I know you don't, OP but I freakin' loved Quina. He stood out to me as one of the most unique and fun characters I'd seen in a long time, and this is from FF9, a game that was already doing a good job of impressing me with its characters lol

Anyway, to criticize my favorite game a bit, Legend of Mana. The combat can get a bit dry sometimes, especially considering the game is set up so that the same battles will always happen in the same place every time you enter the room.

Also, I'm not sure this counts as a valid complaint but...there needs to be more. There are only 67 missions in the entire game. Maybe that's enough, but I wish there had been more. Like I said though, I'm not sure if "My biggest complaint is I wish there was more of it." counts lol

Fallout 3 - Operation Anchorage wasn't very good. Ummmm.... That's it I guess

Dick Dastardly and Muttley: Wacky Races - it had the silliest graphics. Yes, Wacky Races is one of the best games ever! What's your point?

TF2 - hats that don't fit the art style, weapons that feel really rushed, and bugs that have simply been ignored even though the game gets updated almost every week.

I can't pick a favourite, so I'll just pick a few of my favourites from my steam library.

Fallout: New Vegas:
Shooting stuff doesn't feel like you are shooting stuff. just moving and clicking. and I know that's because that's what I'm doing, but I know what I mean, and I find it hard to explain. I just like my shooting to be more visceral.

Mount and Blade Warband:
The graphics are a bit lacking.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic:
The gameplay is a steaming pile of broken turd.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2
NO BASE BUILDING! I love every thing about this game, but I really want base building back.
