Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is dated by today's standards.

That's really it. That game is nearly perfect.

Unless you're in the right mindset, the writing of the sex scenes in Tsukihime is cringe-inducingly awful. And no mindset helps for some of them.
Hah! I remember playing Fate/Stay Night and loving every moment of it since the start of UBW route, with the exception of those horrible, horrible sex scenes (I set the auto read for the highest speed possible, turned off the screen, read some books and turn on the screen again when the music indicating sex scene disappeared :p).

You don't even know, how happy I was, when I saw that I can install Tsukihime without this crap ^^.

Anyway, OT:

Heavy Rain - Not enough choices for the game that makes the biggest selling point on it. It's kickass anyway.

This is too easy...but anyway:

Ocarina of Time: Navi was incredibly annoying. I understand the usefulness of an NPC who tells you where you need to go and what you need to do, but there is no excuse for being that annoying. I must find that glitch that lets you set her on fire...

EDIT:

Metal Solid 1
- The characters don´t have faces.
+ They don´t need them, they have the best voice acting ever.

- The cutscenes are too damn long.
+ That was the way i learned to speak in english.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion...

...I give up, the game's damn near perfect

Bad NPCs maybe? But that doesn't even hinder the gameplay

Kingdom Hearts.
The camera controls suck. But you get used to them.
Jumping completely sucks. It's seriously annoying trying to do some dodge-y platforming in it.
Too little Kairi.

Final Fantasy VIII:

Some characters aren't playable but for a minute.
Card Ability and Junction System can easily break the game.
Some characters really could have been fleshed out.

Oh, and this:

Jesus H. Christ that is scary.

God, there was more than that awful one in the original Fate sceanario? Thank fuck I quit during that one, then. Seriously, killed the story for me, that it did. Which is a damn shame, considering I thought it was intriguing up until then.

Ontopic, though.

Final Fantasy X - Laughing scene in Luca made my skin crawl. Some bits dragged like hell. Kimahri was useless for the majority of the game.

Shenmue - It can be a bit slow at points. Having to wait till the next day for a shop to open is a pain in the arse.

Not my favorite games, but close.

Warcraft 3: The...hard mode... is... ridiculously... hard? I don't know.

World of Warcraft: The gameplay is built to make you be rewarded with playing the game more.

Just Cause 2: The story was awful.

Flower: I can't mention the fact that I played it without being called a woman XD

Battlefield 1943: They didn't have nearly enough content. It was pretty cheap though.

My favorite game: Psychonauts- they set up for a sequel (although not using a cliffhanger) which will never see the light of day because consumers are assholes.

I'm willing to defend all but three of those scenes (the threesome in Fate, the one scene in UBW, and the erotic dream in Heaven's Feel). The other four were fine. And none of them lasted all that long even if you didn't like them.

...wait. You abandoned an 84-hour long game, because of a single five minute long scene?

I'm sorry, that's downright bizarre. I'm assuming you weren't liking anything in the game up to that point.

God of War:

-the visuals have not dated well
-the jump controls are a little iffy and they tend to lead me to my death over a cliff or off of a rope far too often
-the Rage of the Gods meter burns all the way out if you use it and you can't stop using it and save some of it
-the cost in orbs to upgrade your weapons is highway robbery
-the never ending waves of the fucking harpies!
-some of the weapons and magic are kind of useless at most points in the game

Otherwise, it's one of the best action games of all time.

Not really. I found the story quite good up until that point, admittedly the lack of interactivity was a bit on the boring side for my tastes(It was my first visual novel), but I was willing to over come that. However, I lost all respect for the story at that point. You even admitted yourself, the scene is undefendable. It came out of no where, and made no sense what so ever. It just, killed it for me.

I'll do my top 5. I like a challenge.

Psychonauts, ummm... combat could have been better I guess. Oh, and there was no incentive to do the scavenger hunts... that's it. That is the enirety of my gripe with that game. And the combat wasn't even bad, it just could have been better.

Shadow of the Colossus, the horse controls are cock.

Final Fantasy VI...er... map gets confusing to manipulate at times. Save point system fucked me over. Grinding can get annoying.

Fallout 3, Story was meh, Accumulating a retarded amount of money and ammo may make things too easy at times.

Secrets of Monkey Island, some weird logic at times (as is with any adventure game. Adventure games can't really have exciting combat (although I loved the insult sword fighting)

CoD: WaW was far too short with the campaign, and the weapon choice left a lot to be desired. It also is a little buggy and way to hard at some points.

No. I said I wouldn't defend it. I certainly can defend it, from a certain perspective (it set up the principle that sex transfers mana, something used later in both actual scenes and backstory, it was a method of solving the problem of Saber dying, and it provided a turning point in Shirou and Saber's relationship). That's the thing, what I don't defend about most of Kinoko Nasu's sex scenes is is simply the quality of writing; most of them, I can easily justify from a story perspective.

So again, if you "lost all respect" for a story because of a single, incredibly short aspect of it, I don't believe you had any respect for it in the first place. And I sincerely consider that your loss.
