Man, I spent $1800 US on my gaming rig and I'd be suprised if I could run it as crazy as that looks. They're going to have to SEVERELY dumb it down for consoles.

My computer would self destruct if I tried playing a game like that. Pretty sure Nasa would have problems playing a game like that.

Yep... they featured these shots in the recent Playstation Magazine. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked.

They aren't in game shots, so it wont look anywhere near as good, but it will still be gorgoues.

Just remember, Screenshots lie. They look good, but come to game time they are just clever pics.

OT: holy shit, you best come out on console!

Well, I know someone's buying me a new graphics card when this comes out ;) I mean, holy shit! 3D graphics companies a few years ago WISHED they could do this with a dedicated rendering farm in a weekend, and this engine runs in real time at 60 fps.

Those images brought chills down my laptop's power supply. I haven't played the first game and I don't know whether it's been mentioned before, but maybe the name "Crysis" comes from the fact that you have to put yourself into a cryogenic stasis for a few years to wake up at a time when computers can actually run these games.

Ssssssshhhh!

No one is allowed to know that. PC only. Really. forget anything about this "free sixtee" and "pee hess free"

(It'll look better on a high end PC, though. Or a reasonable-end PC).

Hopefully I'll be able to run Crysis 2 on high settings too, because, well, there was no real point in running Crysis on anything any settings below high, and I presure Cry2 will be the same.

Well I have to wonder if that's just a CGI video... but considering the first game, who knows. Also, to run a game at that quality of graphics... oh man, no WAY you could play it without a $1000+ super gaming rig lol.

You're crazy, you'll need three of those and a wizard.

I'll be dammed if I'm going to splash out on the £2000 odd pounds it'll take to run this thing
Oh man...i guess Dante is going to kill my poor ass during one of his missions -_-`

Anyway 2k$$ for a gaming machine cant be that bad....games will become more n more high tech dependable so i dont think you can regret that kind of investement...unless....u sold all ur stuff for this :D

I call B.S.
Most of them look like they have had the sharpness notched up to make them look better at a glance.

Well, these are called target shots. They're made with the game's engine alright (maybe a few particle effects here and there improved), but we will have to see if the game really is going to look that good. If it is, then I won't be able to play it :(
