James nodded.

"Hey Ella."

Pinching the pen from Gil, he turned and hurriedly scribbled his own name on the rota before crossing his name off the 'Light Duties' chart before handing the pen back. He turned around the face the others again.

"Yeah, Gil's right, you do look pretty shattered."

 

[Nukey]

"Fair enough, I don't believe I have ever met a 'Neko' before, may I be graced with the knowledge of your name at least?" Silic asked as he continued to change his eye color, obviously having fun with the augmentation.

 

[RavingPenguin]

Leo returned to the hangar with a large metal crate on his back. "Alright!" He said, "It seems things have gotten a bit more lively in here." He knew the change in pace was due to a scheduled sortie. He found Gil and told her, "Hey, if anyone needs me to look over their mech just tell me. I'll be over working on Wild Cat." He seemed to be in a very good mood.

"Thanks Leo." Gil said to the mechanic. She watched the other guy change his eye colour.
"You'll be Silic then? Hi! I'm Gil." She offered her hand for him to shake.

 

[Nukey]

Silic promptly shook the girls hand, trying his best to simply fit in.

"We'll, all of my old friends are Silic as well. But seeing as I'm the only Silic here I assume that it would be far easier just to call me that rather then my full designation." Silic replied. "Nice to meet you, Gil."

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

"I shouldn't go walks anymore...I'm always late," Uke sighs walking into the hangar.

"Can we go before my mecha tries to kill us all? He's getting angsty sitting about doing nothing a lot," he smiles.

"And..who is this?" he asks regarding Silic trying to be polite.

 

[Nukey]

Silic turned his attention towards the new comer, he smiled and allowed his eyes to fade into a bright shade of blue.

"I am Silic Model-One, Six, Two, Nine, One. You can just call me Silic." Silic answered. "May I be allowed to know your name?

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

"'Model'? Guess that means your either a tech or a clone right?" Uke asks before answering, "Uiko Gjyi Trujeion, or Uke to people who don't want to remember that," he grins widely.

"You a pilot then ?"

 

[Nukey]

"Clone, Silic line. I'm sure you're aware of that line." Silic answered to Uke's first question "And yes, I am a pilot. Surprising that I was accepted considering I have a criminal record"

"Not enough sleep. Same as always." Ella said to Gil and James. "So what time are we-", Ella yawned then continued, " heading out." She sat down on a nearby chair as she waited for Gil to answer he. Before she knew it she started to doze off.

Gil smiled at Ella as she started to doze off.

"Okay guys, go get in your Mecha's! I'll go open the main hanger door and then give the signal to fly out." She told them, nudging Ella to keep her awake.

Gil walked over to one of the huge doors and started pulling on a lever, causing the door to slowly grind open.

pfft, no worries,it's almost my bed time, and I didn't plan that much to happen (since y'know, you guys can make stuff up too if you want )

"Oh, lucky day for me, I now get to traverse and get even more familiar with the transport system... Feth, soon I'll be on first name terms with the transports, seeing as everything seems to talk if it needs to..." Rufus muttered to himself as he dived back into the crowds, forcing a path towards the transport hub.

10 minutes, and a lot of elbow jabs and received insults later, Von Bernkastel boarded the transport headed to the East District, sat in a nice seat, and waited for his stop, while trying to persuade the transport itself that he did not require refreshment of any kind, and if it could kindly leave him in peace. It was a battle he would not win, being bugged for the whole ride towards his destination.

James smiled.

"I know the feeling."

Reaching to his belt, he unclipped a small silver hip flask, opened it and took a swig before offering it to Ella.

"This might perk you up a bit, although I should warn you that it has quite a kick to it."

James looked over to Jackal, he always enjoyed piloting his mech.

"Oi! Le'arda! Im back!" Leo yelled as he carried his load to his mech.
He heard is mech coo like a dove.
"Right babe, sorry I was away for so long, but look at this," he said placing his load in front of the machine, "I got a couple killer new weapons for our trip."
Le'arda chirped a reply.
"Yes, we're headed north for a few days. I have business up there. Dont worry though, I got us a pair of 80mm cannons we'll be safe no matter what we come across."
A cheerful thrill sounded in the hangar.
"Alright girl, settle down. I know you like being worked on, and I love doing it.Pull up those diagnostic results I had you run earlier. I wanna see how these things are going to integrate before the barrels for them get here."

 

[Lambi]

"Wait here a moment, Halbert."
"I will wait paitiently for you, Langda."
Langda jocked over to Gil, who was opening the hangar door and asked "What did I miss?"

"Oh hey! There you are." Gil said cheerfully, glad that the last pilot had arrived.
"We're just about to head out on Patrol, so if you wanna get ready, I'm just opening the door." She said, winding the lever. The door was almost halfway open now.

 

[Lambi]

"Ok. Let me just get back in my Mecha." She jocked back to Halbert and sat down in her seat in the cockpit.
"Ready for a patrol, Halbert?"
"Always, Langda."
He started all his systems up and was ready when Langda would say the word, who was waiting for the others.

Gil panted as the doors were finally open.
"We need a new lever.." She jogged back to the steps, taking them two at a time until she reached Emmerson.

"Okay.. Emmerson, log on please." She said to the blank screens. The Mecha's systems began whirring to life.

System Online.

"Ready for a patrol Emmerson?" She asked her Mecha cheerfully.

More ready than you.

" He replied.

"Hah, we'll see about that." Gil retorted, using the comminication system to talk to the other pilots.

"

Everyone ready to fly? We leave on my signal.

" She told them.
