Name: Dan Trayne or 'Danny Tray' as called by his former colleagues.
Gender: Male.
Age: 29.
Nation: American. (Detroit of Michigan).
Species: Human.
Appearance: Danny is 6'1" and is reasonably well-built. He doesn't look muscly but don't let that fool you. He has short, black hair [http://hairstyles.thehairstyler.com/hairstyles/images/11637/icon/Jake-Gyllenhaal.jpg] and is always seen wearing the same, generic attire: a black leather jacket over a white dress-shirt with a black tie and formal, black trousers with black, leather shoes and -who knew?- black, leather gloves. As soon as the action starts, however, the shoes come off and the jacket?s zip goes up. He believes in practicality over style when needed.
Personality: Danny is closest to an ESTP. He's talkative and even makes conversation with his targets on a case. He lives in the present and is the epitome of 'acta non verba.' Why talk about doing when you can just do? You won't find him planning, you'll find him doing or finishing. His desire to do comes from his curiosity; he won't stop until he is satisfied. When he is doing, he won't let anything get in his way. How he gets the truth doesn't matter, only the truth itself. If he has to upset, hurt or kill he will do it. As energetic and social Danny is, he won't hesitate to be firm with someone. Little does he know that he can come off as obnoxious by his peers. Danny is also a relaxed and adaptable person; he doesn't have a strict routine and if he has plans they can -and probably will- be changed.
Division: 4
Skills: Being a police detective with a solid nine years of experience, Danny has mastered some of the skills you'd expect a detective to have. He has great deduction skills and can usually tell if someone is lying or hiding the truth. He has a keen-eye for details and is incredibly perceptive, almost never missing a single detail at a scene. Danny has quick-reflexes and is quick to react in a situation that demands him to think on the spot. He is persuasive and will get the information he needs one way or another. Leading on from this, Danny isn't a patient person and will do anything which is usually frowned upon from his superiors. Danny is also an expert shooter with handguns and is able with some shotguns and sub-machineguns.

-Recorder. Also for the collection of 'evidence.'
Bio: Danny was born and raised in the city of Detroit by his police deputy chief father. Because his father had a well-paid job, Danny was not exposed to the horrors a poorer citizen Detroit might. His father went as far as discouraging Danny from joining the police because he didn't want him to face the things he did. He wanted Danny to take up another job that would help the city but in a different way. Regardless of how hard he tried, Danny was still influenced by his father; his childhood dream was to join the city police force. Like his father, he had a strong sense of justice and at school he would do anything to get it. On one occasion, he broke all the fingers on a suspicious boy's left hand to find who broke a window in their classroom; they later found out it was him. More incidents like this occurred during his childhood and eventually he was nicknamed 'Detective Dan.'
In his early teenage years, Danny's father took him to a grizzly crime-scene where someone had hacked a boy, of similar age, into pieces. His intention was to shock Danny out of his dream but it backfired because Danny became curious of how this happened. His previous driving force was justice but now it was curiosity. It inspired Danny to become a Private Detective in secret under the pseudonym 'Dayne.' His thirst for answers had to be quenched and his new job would provide. At first, he only did small jobs for minor incidents such as stolen bags but as he became more popular, more people started coming to him and with bigger jobs such as car-jackings. By the time he was fifteen, he had to refuse some jobs to keep up. As he did more and more jobs, Danny became more and more professional and efficient. He loved searching for the truth and wouldn't stop on his quests until he was satisfied. Although he took his job seriously, Danny also had fun with it. He was very talkative and this helped hone his charm in speech.
On one day, he was asked to investigate a drug exchange in the school. He went to investigate and discovered that it was far bigger than he had thought; almost half the school was buying the drugs, including the teachers. After interrogating a couple of users to no avail, he received an anonymous tip that the supplier and manufacturer were meeting on the school field. He told this to his father and, after getting over his shock and anger, told Danny to stay at home and that he would take care of it. That was the last time Danny saw him alive.
Upon arriving, his father and two other police officers were ambushed by hired-gangsters and because they had killed people of great importance to the city, they were quickly found and the drug ring was taken down. Convinced by this horrific incident, Danny gave up being a Private Detective and decided to join the police force as soon as he could. His curiosity was replaced with vengeance and he adopted a fierce need to deliver it to all criminals, petty and major.
Danny joined the police force when he graduated from school. Being the son of the deputy chief, Danny was held in high regard and was treated with respect. He quickly gained a reputation for being merciless, however, and the other officers began to be avoid him. It wasn't hard though as Danny was anti-social and rarely talked to other officers unless absolutely necessary.
On his fourth year as detective, Danny overheard a conversation about a local drug ring involving the same people from many years ago and how the case was to be kept secret from Danny. This did not please him at all and so he took matters into his own hands. He vowed not to follow his father's footsteps and suffer his fate. Strangely, he received an anonymous tip written in the same style of the note he received years ago. It said to go to an abandoned warehouse at X time. Danny went a whole day early and waited for 14 hours, without rest, for the criminals. When they arrived, Danny didn't spare a single thought and slaughtered them all. He phoned the police and returned home.
That night, he had an epiphany. He realized that he had suffered his father's fate, his fate being that his life was miserable and isolated. His father was an anti-social man, only really talking to Danny. Danny was disgusted and began to change from being quiet and closed to loud and open, introverted to extroverted. Despite Danny still being ruthless, his colleagues began to socialize with him; they couldn't refuse his brilliant charm.
