Fallout 3 - I just didn't care enough about the protagonist or anyone else in the game enough to hold any desire to play. I even shot the supposed 'bad guy' in megaton because I though he was just annoying.

Regarding RDR. I enjoyed the ending, for reasons I've cited previously that you get to play the remaining challenges having played John Marston as a fairly benevolent character. I saw Jack as an asshole, as he would be having an outlaw father being killed when he was a teen, so he wouldn't think twice about killing someone who annoyed him. It makes you play the game in a different manner, which was quite clever.

Dead Rising. I didn't find it funny, or engrossing, as every single one of my friends found it. I was aimlessly wandering around, until I found a samurai sword, which entertained me for about a minute before it inexplicably broke... I was really bored after that and found all the ways I could kill myself before never playing again.

Just Cause 2. I couldn't care less what happened to Panau, I just wanted to blow things up.

(So I did. And it was glorious.)

That's wierd, I bought that today (second hand for £1 :p)

Haven't played it yet, though.
I have spent more time making characters in that game then playing it, its awesome but campaing is boring. You better get some mode or something.

Neverwinter Nights 2. Stopped playing after 20 seconds, unbelievably boring.
And that's it. No more contribution. No probablity of quotation. No. Fucking. Point. Why do I even bother to post at all?
Because it's compulsive.
You have to do it. Because otherwise, you'll be bored. Actually I'm still bored, but atleast I'm doing something.
... maybe I should just set my computer on fire?
I'm quoting you just to throw you for a loop. You're welcome.

I'm glad someone on Escapist agrees that Prototype really wasn't that good. Anytime I see that game mentioned people seem to praise it. It wasn't a bad game, but really wasn't that great either. Soon as I forced myself to beat it I got rid of it.
Why? Why Prototype, why are you so bad? You should be great but you fail hard at so much. Is it because you're too repetitive and you're missions seem to be just an extension of side quests? Or is it because Alex Mercer is as interesting as chalk?

Your pathetic PS3 step brother, Infamous, can go eat a dick too. What a dull, dull game.

Assassins Creed 2. I tried playing it twice and almost always fall asleep. Only other game that has ever done that to me is Disgaea... but because i was playing it for about 10 hours straight and forgot to NOT fall asleep.
I'm playing this right now and it suffers from the same problem of Assassin's Creed 1: boredom. Despite me being bored throughout both games, I love them both. I don't know why. It's the strangest thing.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Good good! Between the lack of writing, lack of decent story, lack of decent quests (Dark Brotherhood aside), terrible combat system, terrible leveling system and lack of interesting or unique gear/items or in general any of the elements that make a fantasy RPG fun, good or interesting, it causes me physical pain to have to play that game...
totally agree.
i did the story missions for maybe an hour or so, then did all the dark brotherhood missions, those were fun! tried to get into the other guild things, but those missions failed.
in the end, i shame myself on wasting the money on it.

Call of Duty 3. I don't care if I played it on my Wii. The campaign was the biggest piece of bullshit I have ever played in a Call of Duty game. I'm glad the Wii version didn't have multiplayer on it either. The multiplayer from trailers seemed like a reboot of Call of Duty: United Offenses (which is one of the best CoDs) only with up to date graphics (if it's time) and rifle grenades.

The point is there is no point fighting them, because they will just keep coming for you and your family, so John sacrifices himself to save them any more trouble.
Nice use of spoiler tags.
If anyone has managed to avoid the ending of RDR, whilst still wanting to get the game, and hadn't taken heed of the previous parts of that conversation, then its there own fault. Anyone that still doesn't know presumably doesn't care.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion without Mods

I needed to mod the game to make it awesome, vanilla Oblivion is boring and uninteresting

Well...I loved Infamous, lol. I found it to be so much deeper and so much more fun. At least we agree on Prototype though :p The thing that made Prototype bad for me is that it was a clone of the 2 Incredible Hulk games. The one based off the movie (which really wasn't anywhere near as bad as most movies gone games) and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Come to find out, Prototype was made by the exact same developers! Both Hulk games, though repetitive, still were a lot of fun, where as Prototype lacked in the fun within 5 minutes of getting any new power.

I agree with you on Red Dead Redemption. I never even finished the campaign because I got bored half way through. When I loaded up the disk on my PS3 I thought it would be the Clint Eastwood meets Grand Theft Auto of video games, but it turned out just to be a slightly above average western with some good elements of combat. The story didn't really turn me on as much as GTA did and that dissappointed me.

I have this Problem with most JRPG's. I have no problem with a 60 Hour game. I take issue when i spend 40 of those hours in endless random battles after i just used up my last muffin to heal my health.

The main quest line in Oblivion. I had to drag myself through that. The most exciting thing that happened was me realising Martin is Sean Bean. The plot line itself though... nothing. Second playthrough I put it off till last and did all the side quests I possibly could and then just couldn't be bothered with it again.
