THE QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED, LET THE PLAY GO ON

Amy sighed, pouring the men their drinks. "I wouldn't have said it before tonight, but I have to agree with you after today. Maybe that old priest's babblings were true about all that fire and brimstone and whatnot."

She let out a tinkling laugh, placing the twin glasses, with their respective beverages, in front of the two men.

Dastardos, lord and master of this RP, wanted me to give you this message on his behalf:

A little snippy, but short, sweet and to the point. Carry on with the RP like it as business as usual. You'll keep getting updates sent to you from Das one way or another until his suspension is up.

Isaac nodded silently. "I guess we wait" he said as he swigged his whiskey and nosily slammed the glass on the counter. "Town meeting tomorrow. The future of Hope Falls will be decided there" he continued. "I don't know what to make of what happened today, let alone who in this town will stand up to defend it. Everyone has an agenda it seems and I don't know who is acting with the towns' best interest in mind".

Isaac noticed that his grim observations had lowered the mood in the bar, he cleared his throat quickly, "But at least we have cheap alcohol on Mondays" he said putting on his best forced smile. He raised his glass to Amy, "To the tavern and its wonderful keepers" he said before finishing another round of whiskey. He turned to Ethan, "If you need any help with the livestock, let me know. I can take a look at them if you want" he said.

The sun was beginning to set over the horizon and the crowd that had gathered outside was slowly beginning to disperse. An eerie silence descended on the town as night fell, it was almost too quiet. "Where is everyone?" Isaac asked after a while. "This place usually has more people than just us by now, don't tell me people are off on some mad hunt already?. That's so typical of this place; one sign of trouble and everyone becomes a vigilante!" Isaac sighed as he pulled out his pocket watch. "Well, will you look at the time!" he exclaimed suddenly. " It's been a real pleasure hanging out at the 'ol well with you folks but I think its about time that I head off back home; got lots of work to do in the morning. I'll be seeing you, Miss Reid" he said with a polite nod to Amy. "Ethan" he said nodding goodbye to the farmer.

Isaac stepped out into the night. It was a long walk back to his quarters but it gave him enough time to mull over the days events. Tomorrow was another day. Who knew what events would unfold then?.

I was planning on "discovering" the dead horses till later to give everyone a chance to finish the days work but given the time zone difference I might not be able to post for a while. So if this clashes with your plans then feel free to discover the horses for yourselves. If not PM me and I'll fit it in here.

Ethan raised his glass and nodded at Issac, returning to his drink and his thoughts " Amy...what is Ace planning with this town meeting?" he rarely called her by her first name, hoping that would get her attention.

Amy shook her head, waving her hand dismissively. "Ethan, you know that old coot doesn't tell me anything."

Sighing, Amy turned and placed a shot of whiskey on the counter before her. Swilling it down quickly, she stared into the empty glass, a thoughtful look on her face. "He wants to make sure this place don't turn into another Carson City. I know that. He's been through a lot; the last thing he wants is this homey little place to go to the dogs."

Resting her cheek against her palm, Amy played with the empty glass, turning it in slow circles. It was indeed a slow night.

Sorry 'bout that, I thought the night was over...
Ill make a new post, and we can count my talk with the blacksmith when the new dawn comes

It was getting late, and most people were going to the bar. However, as a priest, he was now forbidden from the drink. It was probably a good thing, but even so, he did miss it now and then. He strolled round the church, and came to Ronald's house.
"Father, are you here?"
"I am."
"I wanted to talk about the Barkeeps plan. I don't like the sound of it, and I think there are some major problems with it. If we address it at a sermon, we could have a lot of influence, and we'd have a chance to keep this town safe. What do you think?"

Amy kept her eyes downcast, still rolling the glass between her fingers. "I don't know either, Ethan. Sometimes I wonder if the Father just does things to spite old Ace."

Chuckling quietly, Amy begins pouring herself another shot. "But then again, I suppose that's against the priestly ways, hrm?"

Amy blinked. She had always thought that Ethan was an odd one, but inviting her into his home? And blushing?

Composing herself, Amy laughed. She pressed her fingertips against Ethan's forehead until his sight was level with hers. "Don't be too hasty, Ethan. I'm certain that the bar'll be the last place to go sour 'round here."

She smiled, warmly, ruffling Ethan's hair. "Don't worry. If things really do go south, you'll be the first we call."

Jimmy snored loudly from his traditional position on the ground, leant against the back wall of the town's inn. He snorted briefly, waking and gazing left and right.

"Wuzza... Who's..." He grumbled as he woke, paused breifly, then belched and let free an odorous fart. He shook his head vigorously, leaning back against the wooden wall behind him. It was already midnight, and the glowing moon had just barely woken him up.

"Ugh.. Whadda Hangopher...." He growled, looking up at the stars, shielding his drooping eyes.
"Stupi' things.. Why you gotta be so.... Bright..."

Jimmy belched again, straighting himself up, looking around him. Behind the bar there wasn't much in terms of decor, but it was quiet and rarely visited. Perfect for the pennyless drunkard's temporary home. He swayed a bit as he finally rose to his feet, still full of the feelings of inebriation, and wandered out into the midst of the town, clueless and mostly drunk.

Try to predict responses and plan your own response to thier response. It'll make things quicker, but don't do it alot. We don't need full arguments in 20 posts when there was 20 lines of diaglogue that could've been condensed to two posts. Better yet, see if you can PM the person you're talking to, to see what they'd say and post all of the appropriate reponses.

Later, Spartan would post
"Response 1"
"Response 2 (Maybe)"

11:00 P.M. John had been waiting for what seemed like forever. he knew the time and knows that he will still have to wait 4 hours before going to the meeting. he walks around town and ends up at the church. he walks into the cemetry and looks at the grave of the young boy. so much mystery behind this kid. Who was he,what killed him, who attacked him,and where were the killers now? all of this would never be known now. he walks out of the cemtery and looks for another way to kill time.

It's Eleven PM, not 3 AM.
Everyone else, please ignore what Portkins Said, instead, if you are having a conversation with someone, plan it out with them through PM, then have one of you post it, Dastardos also requests that you make your posts longer than 3 lines.
I'm waiting on you, freebiewitz

You can damn well post, ask him some other time, you're supposed to be meeting me right now, unless you declined coming to the meeting place, in which case you should have said so

Standing at the at the well it was almost eleven. Checking his weapons he found that once again his clockwork gun was screwing up. Even though the flintlock gun was cheaper and much better in every single area Edward chose the clock work for one simple reason. The nob at the bottom of the handle reminded him of a salt and pepper grinder.

When the man would show up Edward would have a few choice questions to ask him, How did he know he was a mercenary was easy enough, but his name? He tried to hide it as best he could so how this man found out would be his main question but if he could pay as much as he claimed he could then it would'nt matter.

Jimmy is just stumbling around town with no real target. He might stumble over someone's horse and pass out, really.
