Although I personally had issues with some of the winners from season one, I like this show. Its fun watching them test the weapons. So I was glad there is a second season, I was wondering if there was gonna be one.
Your feelings mirrors mine perfectly.
I do enjoy the show even though I doubt some of the outcomes. The Samurai VS Vikings was especially weird...
That being said however, I'm thrilled to see more of it. Let's just hope that there is a Pirate VS Ninja fight in there somewhere!
I don't know... it was a quick, highly skilled fighter vs. a brutal, slow, more powerful, but could have easily been taken out tactically.
Pirate vs. Knight. Now THAT'S bullshit. Watch it. The pirate gets hit in the face with the PROVEN skull-breaking power of the Morningstar. I've just turned this into a debate thread, haven't I?

No there won't be any need for a debate.

However, according to the Aftermath the pirate didn't receive a killing blow in the simulation, just a glancing hit that knocked the hat of and a slight hit to the shoulder. The simulation is meant to be a visual representation of a probable outcome rather than a actual combat manuscript.
The Knight got most of his kills from the halberd for example, but didn't use it a single time during the simulation.
As for Vikings being slow and lacking of finesse that's a popular myth. They were extremely skilled fighters that were very adaptable and had impeccable sense of balance. The Viking should have had much less problems than the simulation showed.
Especially when the Kanabo came up. That should have been an automatic death-sentence for the Samurai.
Even when they messed up the data they were very close, with the Samurai only winning with a few percent.
