I enjoyed Dragon Age: Origins a lot less than roughly 90% of the other games in my library.
Realism isn't cool.
Call of Duty sucks.
Sequels to sports games bring very little to the table but roster updates.
Final Fantasy XIII was awesome. Hope, Vanille and Snow are all great characters, just a little bit misunderstood.
Pokémon Snap deserves a sequel.
Ocarina of Time isn't as good as people say. That's not to say it's bad, in fact it's very good, but it's not as good as people say. Same with Final Fantasy VII. They were both important for their series, though.
In the same vein, Sonic games aren't as bad as people say. Not masterpieces, no, not even close, but they're not bad. Just a tad below average.
JRPGs are, in general, more entertaining than Western RPGs.
Brawl is more accessible and easier to pick up than Melee. Therefore, I like it more.
I severely dislike Pikachu due to its over-popularity.
Linearity is not always bad.
Likewise, free-roam is not always good.
I enjoy level grinding because it puts me in a meditative state, as long as it's not in an MMO. For whatever reason, grinding in an MMO pisses me off. It's why I don't play 'em.
Controller waggling, if implemented right, can serve as a great extra button.
Replay value makes a game considerably better.
The PC is a wonderful gaming platform.
Shooters on the PC are superior.
My list is slightly long.
Deal with it.
