My Steam update news says it's now $3.75 until November 2nd. I know it's a damn good deal and all, but being able to give 75% off a game makes me dubious about its quality for some reason.Signa said:S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is $5 this week.
Could it be a regional thing? I most certainly have it at $5. I'm USA btw. Its Metascore is 82, which is better than Assassin's Creed at 79. AC is accepted as a good Triple-A title, so I doubt this is any different. I remember the reviews when it came out, and it sounded like a decent game. Nothing AMAZING, but decent. Any decent game is worth $5.ahiddenfigure said:My Steam update news says it's now $3.75 until November 2nd. I would assume that the low price is intended to drum up awareness of the franchise before the release of STALKER: Call of Pripryat.ahiddenfigure said:My Steam update news says it's now $3.75 until November 2nd. The Witcher is the best RPG I've played since Knights of the Old Republic and is a steal at $20.Signa said:The Witcher is $20 for their mid-week sale. Not the most insane deal posted here, but anyone who doesn't own it might find this a nice alternative to retail. It's the Enhanced Director's cut, so apparently that's worth $40 normally.
HoI3 also just got its 1.3 patch---the game is massively improved over its 1.0 launch (like any Paradox game). If you're even remotely interested in Pdox's oeuvre, that's a steal.Signa said:Hearts of Iron 3 is $15 for the mid-week sale
Battle Stations Midway and Pacific are $10 and $17.50 respectively
