Meh, Yahtzee wasn't the first to advertise it.Signa said:Looks like Braid is going for $5 this weekend. If you don't know about Braid, then you aren't a Yahtzee fan.
Sadly, I have not played Rome yet. Everyone says it's awesome, and I believe them, but learning a new RTS has always taken a backseat for me when I have so many games on my plate. I just spent $160 last night, and now have a total of 117 Steam games. Rome is hiding in there somewhere...SimuLord said:Not bolding Rome at $2.50? If you haven't played the game yet you have absolutely no excuse!
Likewise, Fallout 3 + all the DLC is at $37.50 for those who haven't taken the plunge...and...well, look for yourself! I've got a few bucks in my holiday budget and damn if I won't spend 'em on Steam this week! Ho ho ho!
Edit: A catalog of must-buys (cents rounded off slightly):
- Rome: Total War $2.50
- Mount & Blade $14.50
- Morrowind + Oblivion + all DLC $33.75
- Empire: Total War $25.00
- Tropico Reloaded (Tropico 1 w/expansion + Tropico 2) $5.00
- Port Royale 2 $2.50 (one of my favorite games, runner-up for 2004 GotY)
- Hearts of Iron 2 Complete $12.50
Add 'em all up and you've got SimuLord's Completely Awesome Time-Wasters Collection for under a hundred bucks!
