I know NOTHING about this game other than it's a strategy game and it's on super secret sale. I had to dig a little to see it because it wasn't on the side banner like Quake is now.

OH HOLY SHIT!!!
[http://store.steampowered.com/app/8980/]
$25 (4-pack for $75)
As I said in my comments for L4D2, I had a favorite game last year, and this was it. As much as there is to criticize in Borderlands, I just can't stop playing it. I took a 2 month break after playing it non-stop for 2 months, and I'm stuck playing it again just this last week. I've finished it 9 times now, and I still want to play more. If that doesn't say $25 dollar game, then I don't know what does.

Just so I can say I didn't completely ignore it, Modern Warfare 2 is doing a free weekend. I wasn't going to post that because it wasn't a sale, but then they decided to slap a 15% off sales on it. $60 down to $51. Big. Fucking. Whoop. Still not a sale IMO, it's just selling for what it should have.

I've heard decent things about this one. I picked it up awhile ago when it was on sale and read some positive feedback on it then. Sadly, this one is far on my back-log of games, so who knows when I'll get around to playing it.

Well, it's here, AVP2000 for a retardedly cheap sale. Enjoy it while it's stupidly inexpensive.

Not heard too much about this one, but I remember some rave reviews back in the day.

The Force Unleashed requires a dual core processor with a Radeon HD 2900 or GeForce 8600 or better. Please check system requirements before purchasing.
This was the first Star Wars Jedi game that came out that I didn't play. It sounded nicely consolized, which would also explain the high system reqs because of lazy devs. Still a sale is a sale, so here it is.

Another "oh holy shit sale!"
[http://store.steampowered.com/app/25700/]
$2.50 Four-pack for $7.50
I love this game a lot. It's a very simple and silly third-person-shooter where all the characters are balls. You get a bunch of weapons to unlock, and each has two elemental modes to deal more damage against enemy targets. TOTALLY worth the $2.50.

Lots of secret sales right now

This is one game that I have had time to play a bit, and it has really impressed me. It's kind of a puzzle/platformer, while still offering some combat to keep things interesting. I like how well the narration is voiced too.

$5 $2.50 each
Another classic and it's not-so-well received sequel. If you haven't played at least the first one, get it since it's $2.50.

I'm not sure if this one went off sale since I last posted it, but it is still on sale now.

This one looks kinda cool. Kinda like Space Invaders/Geometry Wars meets Audiosurf. Here's a gameplay video:

I never got far enough into this one to see if it was worth the hype, but damn that first freighter level was pretty damn sweet.

Sorry about the lack of updates, but the new interface kinda threw me a curve ball. I think I got it figured out, but I'm not convinced it's better yet. Time will tell

It's going to be too large if I post the banners from each game, so here they are
Full pack: $17.50
Dirt: $2.50
Dirt 2: $10
Fuel: $3.75 This gets a nod for being one of the largest games ever made. It impressed me enough to buy it even though I don't really do racing games
Grid: $6.25
Toca Race Driver 3: $2.50

[http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4247/]
$42.50
Games include:
Bully, GTA, GTA2, GTA3, GTA:VC, GTA:SA, GTA4, GTA4: Episodes from Liberty City, Manhunt, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Midnight Club, Wild Metal

[http://store.steampowered.com/sub/2199/]
$15

[http://store.steampowered.com/app/29570]
$20
I'm not much of one for MMO games, but this one being free made me try it out and then eventually buy a second account. It's a damn good game and don't let the WoW addicts fool you. It may not have as robust of a world as WoW, but it's free forever, and that means for one month's worth of a WoW subscription, you can play this very good game for as long or as little as you which without it costing you a dime more.

This one is pretty good. I didn't play it a lot, but its uniqueness impressed me a lot in the 10 minutes I played. In a nutshell, it's a falling-block Tetris game, but you land the falling bricks (gems or something in this case) onto faces of a rotating cube. Get a few color clusters together and you score points. Shake the cube with your mouse and they all will fly off so you can try again. Worth $3 just to try it IMO.

[http://store.steampowered.com/app/41500/]
$10

This one has been done before with a better sale, but $10 is still far better than $20 for this awesome game.

[http://store.steampowered.com/app/18110/]
$15 $45 for 4-pack
Notice: Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10, a DirectX 10 compatible video card, and Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is no support for Windows XP or DirectX 9.

I've not played this since they added a bunch of new content, but it was like Counterstrike in Zero-G space. With wall-walk and fast respawn times. It was good. Consider getting it.

For the Mac users:

$20
Not so much of a sale as it is just a good deal on a starter pack for your new Steam account. I can STRONGLY recommend at least 2 of the games, while I know another 2 are also well loved.

Over the years, I've heard a lot of praise for the Tropico series. They don't look like my style of game, but I know some people LOVE them.

The Steam Special Edition of Tropico 3 contains the following additional content:

Two additional maps for the sandbox mode:

* Verde Playa
* Coco Chico Map

Two additional costumes for the el presidente avatar editor:

* Female Avatar: Casual Clothes
* Male Avatar: Casual Clothes

Two additional accessories for the el presidente avatar editor:

* Female Avatar: Baseball Hat
* Male Avatar: Commie Hat

I've bought 3 games during their weekend deals that I normally probably would not have gotten otherwise: Hearts of Iron 3 (serious dissapointment), Dragon Age: Origins (meh), and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (pretty cool actually). Oh, and I also got Portal for free earlier this week. :)

It's on sale again. I seem to remember Yahtzee not hating it as much as just pointing out a lot of flaws the game had. Coming from him, that's pretty high praise. I know it still sold well despite the low metascore.

Wow the reviewer sites hated these games. UaW had the highest Metascore at 77. Still, it's a sale, so it's getting posted. Space Siege is a Chris Taylor game, so I can't imagine it would be THAT terrible.

Once again, a big thumbs-up for this one. Stop not buying it and just buy it. You can go a day without your happymeal.

$5 + free weekend!
This one is pretty cool. I played it only a short while, but it's almost like an online multiplayer version of Tank Battle for the Atari, but with planes. Definite thumbs up, and you should at least try the free weekend.

[http://store.steampowered.com/app/1250/]
$13.40
Not so sure about this one. I bought it while it was $5 and it was DAMN good for an indie game. That said, it felt really shallow. It was kinda like L4D in the survive-with-your-team objective, but it also was shallow because all you did was survive wave after wave, Smash T.V. style. I personally feel this game is valued at $10 tops, but if you really loved Smash T.V. (or Borderlands Mad Moxxie DLC, because it's almost identical to that) then you might want to spring for this.

I still have not got around to playing these highly acclaimed games. As far as I can tell, the package deal is one of the best deals for your money since it's got 5 awesome games in the pack

$90
This is the real deal of the week, and it comes with an insane amount of games and DLC. I guess at $90, you are spending $300 less than if you bought it all separately.

I've got a friend that love this series. He constantly plays it to rule the world under the time limit presented, and usually succeeds. It's a pretty slow and ugly turn-based game though, so don't expect a lot of hype and flash while playing.

[http://store.steampowered.com/app/25800/]

I know nothing about this one, but it looks a bit like Hearts of Iron. In fact, if you are a hard-core TBS gamer, both games are being offered in a bundle for $30.

4 gaming classics for $5. Another one I strongly recommend.

Ah, yet another game series I'm not qualified to comment on.
