Oh Christ, not another one of these threads -_- i have yet to read any comment what-so-ever, but let me try doing the exact opposite of what everyone else is saying.

"Don't be yourself, and ignore her entirely" - believe it or not, that will probably work better, because no girl wants a guy that does everything they want them to.

And right after your done ignoring the girl you like you can buy billy Mayes's new shamwow with the money you would save from not taking her on dates.

Next time you have a conversation, why not mention a film you'd like to see or something similar and casually ask her if she'd like to come along. Start slow and work from there, you'll figure it all out dude, it's easy after a while.

This is the best advice so far.

Don't be dropping the L-bomb any time soon. Especially since you don't really seem to know her that well.

Aak her out some where fun and casual, and see what happens.
Seconded. Best approach is still the direct one by far.

This, maybe see if she wants to go out for lunch or something.

True, but if you show nointerest you will only find the idiotic girls whose only interest in you is the fact you are a challenge, and once you finally give in, they get bored and move onto the next challenge. Lot's of guys are like that too.

Talk to her, and tell her how you fell about her.
this
it would be painful to think of doing, but otherwise, shes gone. trust me, this EXACT thing happened to me and i let it past.
tell her how you feel, or let her go in your mind
you dont have to ask her out, just ask her to be less friendly because youre getting the wrong idea

the girl i liked asked me to walk her home, etc. but i still did nothing, cos she may have just been nice.

there are no second chances in life. dont think "ill do it later" now or never. it may be a big thing to you, but if she doesnt LIKE you, she wont think about it too much

Usually I'd say talk to her. But I'd advise against that.

Become better friends with her, then you will find out. If you tell her you might lose her, which would suck. Start hanging out with her. Then ask her out.

Whatever you do, make sure she doesn't know you got your advice from a gaming website.

You should probably try to spend a bit more time with her before doing anything rash.

Whatever you do, don't swear to her your eternal love.
Nor give her a dozen roses, one of which is plastic, with a card reading, "Love you 'till the last rose dies."
Also, don't buy her jewelery with diamonds. If she's a nice person but it doesn't work out between you, then she'll feel guilty about it for the rest of her life.

I'd suggest going for it, tell her how you feel. However, a word of warning. As the one asking, if she says no then you'll feel totally crushed and humiliated and you'll find it awkward trying to talk to her. It depends whether you think she'll actually say yes and if you really wanna risk the friendship...
If she says no just say can we just get over this a be freinds
It depends how you feel. You might be able to, you might not.

I've got past it before, mainly because I couldn't stand to lose the guy as a mate. However I have also felt that I couldn't get past it, and I've lost mates because I've told them how I feel...
