well... i have a katana just across the room... and until i can get to it i have number of heavy books and a stool next to me, wow i might actually be okay, i'm better armed in my room than i thought.
I'm in the kitchen, so the kitchen knives and the big heavy wok that I'm about to wash up. Use it as a blunt instrument for now, and then use the knife to try and sever the spinal column or the back of the neck, thus dealing the zombie kill-blow fairly quickly.
Then, being in the flat on the first floor in my building, it shouldn't be too tough to barricade the only entry point into the flat... ;D

My precision screw drivers, it'll give them use for something other than my glasses. Otherwise I'd say a hard drive.
:/ I for once am completely defenseless. But why did they used to say? A knifless man is a lifeless man? Ya. I'll jump kick that zombie in the face then elbow slam him so his head falls off then I'll take his arm and use it as bait for the zombies outside.
