None, I never play demos, because I believe them to be misleading in terms of how good the game is.

Yeah - I thought the demo of uncharted sucked hard! I didnt get the game for like another year and a half.

The game is pretty good

OT: Batman! The force unleashed!!!

I bought Mirror's Edge because of the demo. I thought it was good, I just wish it was longer.

Bayonetta.

Played the demo last time, and now I'm going to reserve a copy today. I'm a sucker for the Devil May Cry formula of ass-kickery, so that plus more awesome fighting has sold me. I'll probably get really frustrated with it and not finish it like I did Devil May Cry 3, buuut... at least it'll be awesome while it lasts :D

YES for The Dishwasher. I did the same, too, now that I realize it xD played the demo and bought the game in the same day. Second game I ever bought on the XBLA! :D

Crysis. Nothing was more fun than playing "Korean Bowling" though it was pretty upsetting that the damned gunboats can see me if I so much as poke my head out. Regardless, I decided to buy both versions of the game, and while I was bummed at the ending of the first one, I was exhilirated by the second and loved the combat so much. (except the FRUSTRATINGLY common crashes associated with Warhead)

A few years ago I never was really 'into' playing demos. It was either the full thing or nothing.

The Bioshock demo convinced me to eventually buy it, the Brutal Legend demo has convinced me to buy it sometime this month and the Bayonetta demo has me interested, but not sold on buying the game.

I kinda' thought I'd have a long list to put into this post, but on reflection, the only demo that's ever made me buy a game has been Audiosurf... which I'm rather glad for, because I have a lot of music to listen to, and it's a good way to keep me engaged in it without flailing around like a nutcase.

Valkyria Chronicles, Medievil, ET: Quake Wars, Splinter Cell (the first one), and while it wasn't really a demo, I bought Red Orchestra: Ostrfront 41-45 because of being a big fan of the mod.

I admit it freely if there is a demo and I play it and I like it I will buy the game.I'm confused am I supposed to hide the fact that such a seldom used ploy earns my money sometimes?I can still remember when almost all games had demos and they where free too.

Codename: Panzers Phase One, Evil Genius, Outpost 2, Homeworld2, Rise of Nations, Dungeon Siege, Heroes of Might & Magic II, Railroad Tycoon 2 (although actually this was the The Next Millennium standalone xpack), Spartan/Gates of Troy (game by an obscure British company called Slitherine), The Settlers IV, probably some more I forgot.
